~[mind] space~
the mind space was empty. other than one spirit that floated in the middle.

the king split. and from it. all the other spirits poured out of it.
"remind me to only do that in emergencies." groaned can.
"what the hell was that..." cass questioned.
"... it's what happens when all of us become one." replied sam.
"it is...The King." said Cryon.
"regardless... that form is incredibly draining... i'm out of divine energy..."
can sat down in the [mind] space.
"where's james?" he asked.
"that's strange. he never shuts up so where did he go..."
as if summoned, a burst of light came from the husk of the king above. the husk turned solid, then shaped itself into the shape of james.
"did.... did the husk just turn into james!!??" exclaimed cass.
"... james' consciousness was injured during the last part of the fight... the husk of the king... it is protecting and healing his consciousness..." grimness took over can's voice.
"... i shouldn't have let him take over the body... i should've been the one to fight that thing..."
silence took over the [mind] space, most of the spirits have already went back to sleep. and those who're left remained silent.
"there is no point in regret.." can stood up and connected himself to his body.

can woke up in his bed. confused, he looked around the place. only to find a handsome man with gray hair sleeping on a chair next to the bed.
can would've normally been alarmed by this, but can recognized the man's energy signal.
everything had an energy signal. humans, animals, even objects, like a pen or a rock.
and that energy signal? it was Sven's.
in the quiet bedchamber, even the sound of can stirring in his bed seemed loud.
Sven, who was still on high alert. picked up on that faint noise and woke up.
"good morning sven, you seem a little different, have you gotten a haircut?" joked can.
a look of pure joy washed over sven's face as he saw that can had woke up.
Sven attempted to stand up to greet can, but his mastery over his new form was of the lowest grade. and he slipped and fell on the ground.
can held back his laugh and walked over to where Sven is. can patted Sven's head. "you did well..."
can decided to activate his [all knowing] through sven, it was simple now that he leaned how to control his powers.
[all knowing] would compress a lot of divine energy into his brain, then it would give it technique, this is why [all knowing] was able to view the contents of a book, or be able to copy the habits of animals.
the range of [all knowing] was roughly the size of pre-merge earth. [all knowing] would be able to sense anything inside a subdimension from the outside as well if it was small enough.
can did not want to overwhelm Sven with a huge flood of information, so can stripped [all knowing] of all the techniques present. and added a limiter instead, [all knowing] was limited to only viewing information about humans now.
can circulated his divine energy through Sven's body. careful not to force him into a breakthrough. Sven would need to understand how to control diving energy by himself, otherwise he will never grow.
can activated his power through sven.
the flood of information pained sven, but knowing it came from his king. Sven gritted his teeth and accepted it.
when the flood of information was subdued, Sven stood up and gave a polite bow. "thank you, my king. i shall treasure this gift dearly.
can's control slipped and the skill carried the information back to can as well. it wouldn't have been an issue normally. but a small bit of information stood out.
the information about Sven's transformation, the pain he was in, and the damage to his soul. can felt useless once again.
can patted Sven's head once again, then churned his tree of existence to create more energy, circulating it through Sven and fixing his soul.
