Four hundred years ago, the world was plagued by the Demon Race, a powerful and malevolent force that threatened to destroy all that was good. Amidst the chaos, five heroes emerged, each from a different kingdom, united by their bravery and determination to save the world.
These heroes were:
Arin Lionheart
A fearless warrior with unmatched swordsmanship and a fiery spirit. And the only wilder of the Holy Sword Excalibur.
Kael Rhinoaxe
A stalwart defender with unmatched strength and resilience, who wielded the mighty shield and spear.
Eira Elephantaeus
A wise and powerful sorceress was the only mage to make it to the realm of Supreme Mage.
Thorne Buffalone
A fierce and unyielding warrior who fought with unbridled ferocity, his weapon of choice was a greatsword.
Lucy Leopardrien
A cunning and agile fighter who moved with the stealth and precision of the leopard. Using a Kusarigama as her weapon.
Together, these five heroes battled against the Demon Race, overcoming countless challenges and defeating powerful foes. Their bravery and selflessness inspired others to join their cause, and soon, their kingdoms were united in a single purpose: to vanquish the demons and restore peace to the world.
In the end, it was not just their strength and power that saved the world, but also their wisdom and humility. Recognizing that true leadership required more than just martial prowess, they chose a wise and just ruler to unite their kingdoms under a single banner. This ruler, King AllanClover, he was not the strongest warrior, but his wisdom, compassion, and fairness made him the perfect candidate to bring peace and prosperity to the newly formed kingdom.
The five heroes became the founding families of the kingdom, each with their own distinct role and responsibilities. The Lionhearts became known as the Swords of the Kingdom, defenders of the realm and wielders of power. The Rhinoaxes became the Shields of the Kingdom, protectors of the people and guardians of the land. The Elephantaeuses stood as the Pillars of the Kingdom, providing wisdom and stability. The Buffalones were the Brawlers of the Kingdom, fierce warriors who fought tirelessly for the kingdom's interests. And the Leopardriens were the Shadows of the Kingdom, agile and stealthy operatives who worked behind the scenes to ensure the kingdom's safety.
Under King Allan Clover's wise leadership, the kingdom flourished, and the five families worked together to build a prosperous and peaceful realm. Over time, their descendants became the Arch-Dukes of the kingdom, ruling over their respective territories and upholding the values of their ancestors. Despite their differences, the families remained united, bound by their shared history and their commitment to the kingdom's well-being. The rivalry between the Lionhearts and Rhinoaxes remained, but it was a rivalry that fueled progress and innovation, driving both families to become stronger and more formidable.
In the present day, the five Arch-Dukedoms were led by powerful and ambitious leaders. Elliot Lionheart, the current head of the Lionheart family, sat in the central seat of the grand arena, flanked by the other Arch-Dukes. To his right sat:
Cassius Rhinoaxe the stoic and unyielding leader of the Rhinoaxe family, who gazed out at the arena with a calculating intensity. And, Aurora Elephantaeus, the wise and enigmatic leader of the Elephantaeus family, who watched the proceedings with a discerning eye.
To his left set Viggo Buffalone, the fiery and passionate leader of the Buffalone family, who drummed his fingers impatiently on the armrest and Lila Leopardrien, the cunning and mysterious leader of the Leopardrien family, who smiled subtly to herself as she surveyed the arena.
The arena was filled with young knights and mages from the respective Arch-Dukedoms, all vying for attention and recognition. The air was electric with anticipation, as these young warriors and mages showcased their skills and competed against one another.
However, one notable absence was Raven, he had yet to make his way to the arena. His presence was eagerly anticipated by his father, as well as mother who stood by in section of the arena along with other Nobels.
Elliot's voice boomed through the arena, amplified by his Aethon, as he gazed out at the young warriors and mages gathered before him. "Greetings, Children of the Kingdom of Excalibur. I stand before you today not as the Patriarch of House Lionheart, but as the leader of the five great families. Today, we gather here to witness the boys and girls turn into men and women of great honor in our sacred warriors' Enclave. Depending on your performance, you will be placed in a team that balances your skills when you all head out to commence your trial as flag bearers. I wish you nothing but the best."
The arena fell silent, the young competitors hanging on Elliot's every word. The weight of the occasion was palpable, and the stakes were clear: prove themselves worthy to represent the kingdom and their respective families.
As Elliot finished speaking, a murmur of anticipation rippled through the crowd. The tournament was about to begin, and the fate of these young warriors and mages would soon be decided. The question on everyone's mind was: who would emerge victorious, and which teams would be formed to represent the kingdom in the trials ahead?
Raven's half-siblings couldn't help but exchange skeptical glances. Two of them, brothers Derek and Lucas, started to snicker quietly, their eyes rolling in amusement.
"All that talk about being ready in two months was a load of bull," Derek whispered, barely containing his laughter.
"I know, right?" Lucas chimed in, his voice low. "I don't know how he managed to awaken Aethon, but it looks like even sir Kael couldn't train trash like him."
Their half ister, Ava, sat quietly beside them, her gaze fixed on some distant point above the arena. She didn't join in the mocking, her expression unreadable.
Derek and Lucas continued to whisper, their words dripping with disdain. Jasmine, their other half sister joined in with her own comment "I bet he won't even show up. He's probably still hiding in the shadows, too afraid to face real consequences of his words."
Ava's silence was notable, her stillness a stark contrast to her siblings' animated whispers. Her eyes remained fixed on the sky, her thoughts unknown. Was she too, doubting Raven's abilities, or was she simply lost in her own world? The siblings' teasing didn't seem to faze her, and she didn't react, her calm demeanor a mystery.
As the siblings continued their whispered taunts, their attention was drawn to the approaching figure of Valeria ,the captain of the Crimson Lion. Her stunning features, marked by the distinctive red and white hair that was unique to some descendants of the Lionheart family, commanded attention. With a confident stride, she made her way to the center of the arena.
"Young warriors," Valeria announced, her voice clear and commanding. "The first test of the day will be to inflict as much damage as possible on the giant stone wall behind me." As she spoke, the arena floor behind her opened, and a massive wall of dark, imposing metal rose from beneath the ground. The wall stood at an intimidating 24 feet tall.
"This wall is made of the hardest metal known," Valeria continued. "Only by giving it your all can any of you, at your current level, inflict damage on it. Let us begin."
Without hesitation, Ava stepped forward, her eyes showing boredom but fixed on the wall. As she raised her hand, a surge of energy emanated from her, and she unleashed her full power as a Knight. The metal wall shuddered under the force of her attack, and a significant gash appeared, marking the surface.
The crowd gasped in surprise, impressed by the depth and size of the mark Ava had left on the wall as it was 14 neters long. When the dust settled, it became clear that Ava had made the biggest mark, showcasing her formidable strength.
The other siblings, Derek, Lucas, and Jasmine, stepped forward next, each determined to match Ava's performance. However, despite their efforts, they each managed to inflict similar marks each as Junior Knights, but slightly lesser damage as they werearound 9 meters each. In the end, they were tied for second place, their marks on the wall noticeably smaller than Ava's.
The competition had begun, and the young warriors were already showcasing their skills. But the question remained, was there anyone who could surpass Ava's impressive display, or would she continue to lead the pack?
