"Don't think about relaxing when this assignment isn't even half way done"
Currently the small group that had been chosen and hired to execute the tasks the past month were listening to the employer as he scolded and went on a rant about the work that needs to be done. First off we had 2 of our members plant and set off bombs in 4 of the historical museums with the information and artifacts containing details on the subject. Furthermore we had 2 people collect and replace the items before the explosions to cover the evidence. Well that leaves myself and my assigned partner. But I didn't feel like working with them so I lost them before going to eliminate both the subjects on my own.
"Now, you all will find the remnants of Aquene then return it to me and receive your pay. It should be undamaged and in as pristine conditions you find it. I care not the deaths or risks you might need to take, it's all permitted. Any questions?"
"Yeah uh, if one of our teammates die what happens to our cut?" One of them spoke in almost an irritably stupid tone. Obviously one of two things would happen, the group would divide the pay or it stays the same. Either way it's a decent amount. I plan on executing this job alone… for the most part. I genuinely don't care if the others die, live, or get paid for it.
As the others ask questions and discuss our plans, I view the instructions for the next part of the mission.
The screen showed the basic outline, maps of the areas I'll be performing in, each assigned job of every person, as well as back up plans in case certain steps go wrong.
Though I'm almost positive it'll go by smoothly.
Next our group has to journey to the kingdom of Faishu in search of a unique plant. "Rosa Cupidinis", one of the few flowers said to possess the magic and soul of Aquene. In the legend connecting to this lead Aquene was seeing Eros the god of love and desire. They were happy together but when Venus and Mars found out they didn't approve and forbade Aquene, a lower ranked god from seeing their son. In shock and blind peril he starts using his ability to shoot arrows to those who seemed hopeless, though it turned out not to be enough to heal his soul so he turned his arrow to a vine of roses and let them absorb all of his energy and otherworldly abilities. Whenever someone picks one the person they hold the least dear yet are the closest in the physical world are to enchant them with unseen attraction that barely existed before. However when it's gifted or in the presence of one's true love they're granted eternity together instead of the pain and suffering of separation. The flower is rare and only blooms in one place but, nobody knows where exactly it disappeared in Faishu along with its many secrets. The flowers in the legend are now a legend known as "Cupid's Rose".
