The Contract—

2. Get a villa in the Super City (can be unlocked if you become a Martial Master within 2 months)

3. Receive 2 vials of Supreme-grade Body Strengthening Fluid

4. Buy anything from the Alliance Market at half price (unlocks only after becoming a Martial Grandmaster within 1 year)

5. Choose one skill (if you reach Level 9 Martial Warrior within a month)

6. Choose one weapon (under 100 million value)

---

Seeing the terms, Ethan was stunned for a few moments.

500 million in cash?

Even my super-capable dad has only managed to earn 100 million until now…

A villa in the Super City?

That meant not just a home, but full residential status in a place that was the dream of billions. Right now, there were only 5 Super Cities and 50 Base Cities across the world. A Super City was at least ten times the size of a Base City, its grandeur reaching unimaginable heights. All the true powerhouses of the world lived there.

Ordinary people couldn't even enter a Super City without connections or qualifications—let alone live in one.

Then there was the Supreme-grade Body Strengthening Fluid. Ethan had heard of it—it could raise a ordinary person's power up to 1000kg and increase speed to 30 m/s.

The cost? A whopping 100 million for a single vial.

And now he was being handed two for free.

Even if he didn't need them, his parents could benefit. They were just ordinary people—this would be a life-changing opportunity for them. Later, he'd find a way to fix the elemental affinity issue when he becomes a true powerhouse.

Then Ethan asked, his throat suddenly dry,

"Umm, Supervisor Charles, when you say I can choose any skill… do you mean the basic techniques? Or are the special ones included?"

When Charles saw Ethan's eager, overwhelmed expression, he felt deeply satisfied.

He smiled knowingly and said,

"Of course, including the special techniques too. Yes, you can choose a technique worth up to 100 billion. But… you can see the catch, right? Do you think you can fulfill the conditions for activating the deal?"

Ethan felt a strong urge to reveal his current cultivation level right there and then—but he held back.

He could be considered a genius, sure. But if he revealed too much, he'd be labeled a monster. People feared the unknown. If he exposed just how freakishly talented he really was, he could draw greed, suspicion, or worse.

The world was facing a catastrophe. Everyone was desperate for shortcuts to power—even the powerful. Who knew what kind of attention he might attract, or what lengths they might go to if they thought he had some hidden secret?

So Ethan just replied calmly,

"We'll see about that."

Charles raised an eyebrow.

Even he had thought the contract was absurd when he first saw it. These weren't terms—this was a fantasy novel's plotline.

Become a Grandmaster within a year?

Become a Master within two months?

Level 9 in a month?

Ridiculous.

But the order had come from the higher-ups themselves. Charles had no choice but to follow it.

Now, seeing the calm confidence in Ethan's eyes, he couldn't help but be stunned.

Could this kid really do it?

If so… the higher-ups would end up pouring hundreds of billions into him. Even kings would hesitate to spend that much on themselves.

Then Ethan asked again,

"It says I can choose a weapon under 100 million. I saw the listings. There's the—

E series: Can hurt warrior-level beasts

D series: Can hurt master-level beasts

C series: Can hurt grandmaster-level beasts

B series: Can hurt king-level beasts

A series: Can hurt emperor-level beasts.

There are also rare Force Weapons that can multiply attack power:

Level 1: Multiply by 5

Level 2: Multiply by 10

Level 3: Multiply by 20

Level 4: Multiply by 40

Level 5: Multiply by 80

But those weapons… only Emperors could wield them. Totally out of reach for Ethan right now.

E-Series weapons ranged from 1 to 5 million.

D-Series: 20 to 50 million.

C-Series: 90 to 200 million.

B-Series: 500 million to 1 billion.

A-Series: 2 to 5 billion.

Force weapons? Only exchangeable via contribution points. Not for sale.

So now, Ethan could realistically choose a high-end C-Series weapon. But with 500 million cash in hand, he had more than enough options.

"Mr. Charles, is there a way to make a custom-made weapon?" Ethan asked.

Charles tilted his head.

"Oh? You don't like the ones in the shop?"

"No, not like that. They're good. But I want a custom-made one."

"It can be done," Charles nodded.

"But it'll take some time, and the price will be higher than normal. Do you already have a design in mind?"

Ethan's eyes lit up.

Which young hero didn't dream of walking the world with a legendary sword, saving beauties along the way?

"I'll sign the contract," Ethan said.

"But like you said—I have one request. I want a custom-made weapon."

Charles nodded.

"Which series are you aiming for? And what's the design?"

Ethan thought for a moment.

"I'll take a C-9 weapon. As for the design…"

He picked up a pen and paper and began sketching.

Ten minutes later, he leaned back with satisfaction. On the paper was a beautifully drawn sword—Frostmourne, the legendary blade from the World of Warcraft in his past life.

Charles took a look and couldn't help being impressed. For a moment, he even considered getting one made for himself—until he remembered he wasn't a sword user. Also, stealing the style from this rising myth might not be wise.

After signing the contract, Ethan looked up and said,

"Supervisor, I want to go out and hunt."

Charles was startled.

"You just awakened your element yesterday, became a warrior today, and you already want to hunt? Are you trying to show off your name?"

Then he added seriously,

"You know the rules. If you want to hunt alone, you need to be a Level 7 Warrior. Otherwise, you'll have to join a party. What do you think?"

Ethan replied,

"Umm… I'd like to see the outside at least once. I'll go with a party. Can you arrange one for me?"

Charles nodded.

"Okay. I'll select a suitable team for you. You'll get your weapon within two days. The money will be transferred now. And the Body Strengthening Fluid will be delivered to your home within three hours."

Ethan stood up and shook Charles' hand.

Charles… a King-rank powerhouse, capable of flying through the sky, tanking nuclear blasts, and leveling entire cities if he wished—yet he didn't show even a speck of arrogance in front of Ethan.

Because the young man before him… was a living myth.

Becoming a warrior in a single day? That wasn't even recorded in the ancient ruins the Alliance had discovered.

The Vice President of the Alliance had personally instructed him:

"Create this contract and treat Ethan Hunt with the utmost sincerity."

After saying his goodbyes, Ethan left the branch.

His parents were about to receive another surprise today.
