Chapter 3 - Apocrypha Begins [2]

Normal POV

Oliver Constantine had to hold a smirk from appearing over his face as he looked down at the signed Geass scroll between him and Roku for the third time since he arrived in Romania.

Although the older man had been cautious he hadn't even realized that Constantine managed to trick him because of one little single invisibility ink spell that he had developed himself.

In addition to their agreed clause Roku he had in secret added so that Clocktower didn't just owe him one absolute favor but rather an additional one hundred more with the addition that if the Clocktower failed to meet those favors then they'd all be cursed with misfortune.

Was it a scummy move? Admittedly yes but you can't call yourself a Magus if you're not even a bit of a scumbag.

Although Oliver secretly did like to think he was better than most magi in general since he had a set of moral codes.

Looking down at the catalyst for his servant in his right hand, a shard of the round table that belonged to King Arthur and his knights.

Or so history tells but Constantine's developed version of the Structural Analysis spell allowed him to see far past just the general information of the object and actually get glimpses of the past.

From what he's seen King Arthur definitely wasn't a guy she was a chick, a rather cute one as well…what don't judge him he's a man of culture thank you very much it just so happened that he had a type that's all.

Placing the Geiss scroll back inside his coat Oliver stood up from the park bench he was sitting on and put the catalyst within the summoning circle.

It was currently night time with a nice full moon shining down.

The time for the summoning of the servants begins now "right well no use in wasting time now if I do win this war then I can attain all six paths maybe more," he muttered, extending his right hand which had three command seals on it.

"Let silver and steel be the essence. Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.

Let red be the color I pay tribute to. Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.

Let the four cardinal gates close. Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate. Let it be declared now; your flesh shall serve under me, and my fate shall be with your sword," a bright burst of red energy brought the summoning circle to life.

The wind grew erratic blowing Oliver's hair and coat back but he remained completely still concentrated on finishing up the summoning.

Unknowingly his eyes glowed golden for a moment

"Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail. Answer, if you would submit to this will and this truth.

An oath shall be sworn here. I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven, I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell. From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint, protector of the holy balance!!" he roared.

A flash of white engulfed Oliver for a brief moment until it faded leaving only smoke he coughed fanning his hand to get the smoke away from him "cough, cough bloody fucking hell," he cursed as some of it went into his mouth.

Glancing up Oliver saw a knight with a white and red scheme color and a helmet that held horns at the sides.

'Right that's definitely not King Arthur' Oliver thought with only a little disappointment "I don't suppose you can tell me who you are?" he inquired.

The servant's helmet began to transform until it pulled all the way back revealing a girl exactly identical to King Arthur except her hair style was different and had a red band to hold up her hair.

"You may call me Sir Mordred, the one and only true heir to King of the Knights Arthur Pendragon now I ask you…are you the one who is my master?!" she introduced with a wide smile.

The sounds of crickets could be heard as Oliver could only blankly stare at the woman "the fuck your also a woman I wonder how the hell Arthur managed to have ya if she didn't have a cock?!"

Mordred once blinked.

Then twice "…excuse me?" she asked voice flat and just slightly twitching with irritation.

Oliver blinked back hands raised as if trying to grasp the sheer absurdity of what he'd just blurted out "no, seriously, don't take it the wrong way love it's just, y'know, biology and all that you can't just pop out of thin air without someone having done the deed yeah?"

He was promptly greeted with a sword thrusted near his neck "it's none of your damn business! Also do not ever refer to me as a woman or I won't be able to restrain myself next time," Mordred threatened with a dark look.

Constantine merely move the sword an inch away from him with his right index finger "alright love lets chill the f-out no need to resort towards violence shall we? The name's Oliver Constantine," he introduced.

"Hmmph!" Mordred grunted pulling the sword away and looked back towards the summoning alter only to notice the fragment of the round table.

She gritted her teeth slamming her sword on top of it only for Oliver to flick his hand switching the catalyst with a nearby rock "yeah no I still need that catalyst to resell for some big money," he said safely placing it into his inner coat pocket.

Mordred stared at him in disbelief, "you what? You're planning to sell a fragment of the Round Table?!"

Oliver gave her a lazy grin leaning back on his heels like he hadn't just narrowly avoided a decapitation "hey now, don't give me that look what does it matter if I sell it or not you yourself were just about to destroy it anyway," he reasoned.

"Tch fine whatever do whatever you want Master," she said making her armor and sword vanish away leaving her in barely concealed red robes that covered her small b-sized chest, arms, and legs the material was thin.

Thin enough for Oliver to check her out "ahem right so just to make sure I am not getting into incredibly evil right now Mordred what's your wish for the grail?" he awkwardly asked.

Mordred walked forward clearly still a bit pissed off "you don't have to worry about it Master I am not going to wish for anything evil, what I desire most is to go back in time and challenge the sword of selection like the King of Knights did," she explained.

Oliver nodded following after her "a challenge aye?" he asked with a smirk "what is it?" Mordred asked with a frown that somehow made her look less serious to Constantine.

"Well let's just say I got something in mind for that but first off…it's nice to meet ya Mordred," he said, extending a handout.

Mordred chuckled "likewise I am counting on you master," she replied low fiving his hand "I'll do my best then," Oliver said with a small smile "now then where's our enemy?" Mordred asked, looking around the park.

"Woah love calm ya self-down, we got to go first see the church and then we have to get you some normal clothes because everyone can quite literally notice that your practically naked under your red outfit…although you could barely call it one at that" Oliver muttered towards the end.

Mordred could only tilt her head over in confusion "what I don't get it there's nothing wrong with this hell it's actually really great for battle-efficiency and-"

"And bloody distracting is what it is," Oliver cut in dryly fishing a cigarette from his coat and lighting it "I'm just sayin' love if you don't want half the damn town either gawkin' or callin' the coppers, we ought to sort you out with somethin' that doesn't scream look at me I am 'magical stripper knight from ye olde Britain.'"

Mordred's eye twitched again "..huh what's a stripper Master?"

Oliver came to a pause and looked at Mordred in the face "the grail didn't tell ya?" he inquired.

"Nope, apparently it wasn't deemed important enough," Mordred responded with a shrug.

He shrugged and they resumed walking "yeah I am not going to really explain on the account of you trying to decapitate me again also just call me Oliver no need for the whole master thing unless you have a kink for it or something which I won't judge you for by the way," Oliver dismissively said.

Mordred scowled her footsteps crunching the gravel path beside his "you're lucky I'm feeling generous tonight Oliver," she said, rolling his name off her tongue with an exaggerated accent, "otherwise I'd show you exactly what kind of 'kink' I have and it involves your skull meeting a wall at high speed."

"Aww, how sweet," Oliver replied unfazed as he exhaled a puff of smoke "we've only just met and you're already thinking about getting rough with me why I just may end up falling for you."

Mordred shot him a sidelong glare "you're insufferable."

"Yet incredibly charming," he said with a cocky grin "now then off to the Church we go."
