Chapter 13 - The Seer's Warning After the Flare

1 3: The Seer's Warning After the flare, the Council Hollow was noisy and tense. In close quarters, elders debated the border breaches and rogue attacks in whispers. After a change in the wind, the Northwood Pack's Seer showed up. The wolves became quiet when she was around. "You disregard old blood at your own risk," she said without waiting to be invited. Seeing the significance of the Seer, Lira got to her feet swiftly. You have made great progress, Seer Mira. Mira answered, "Fire and something more profound called me.". Thessan's eyes narrowed, but Mira said, "What sleeps has been awakened by the blood of the Luna," drawing a sigil in the dust. Following the utterance of the Second Name, the ancient ones will now awaken. "Vampires, long believed to be extinct but not dead, were warned about by the Seer. They are waiting, and the person bearing Tala'Ra's name will either be the blade that stops them or the beacon they follow. Mia and Kaian, meanwhile, were standing on the cliffside at the Southern Pass. A presence was felt by her.

Kaian had noticed that the rogues feared her. They feared you, he said succinctly. Modestly, Mia said, 'They feared what was coming.' Mia narrowed her eyes, feeling the weight of the Seer's words and the voice in the wind. She knew her journey was far from over, and as the Seer's words hung in the air, the members of the Council looked at one another in concern. Some of them looked at Mia with a mixture of fear and curiosity, while others seemed determined to find some way to stop the imminent threat. Thessan, still skeptical, wanted to learn more about vampires and the Ancients. Mira's expression hardened, and she began to explain the history of supernatural beings and the dangers they represented.

Mia stood at the Southern Pass, fully cognizant of the obligations that her new role demanded. She recognized the necessity of being prepared to face any challenges that lay ahead. Next to her was Kaian, his eyes fixed on the far-off horizon, ready to protect her from any threats.Together, they lingered, aware that their adventure was far from finished.

The whisper of the wind echoed in Mia's thoughts, and she realized she needed to embody strength. She inhaled deeply, feeling the vitality of the Luna's blood flowing through her. No longer merely a wolf, she had transformed into an unstoppable force. And she was set to take on whatever was to come.
