Chapter 1 - The Crimson Verge

In the beginning, before spirit stirred the cosmos, there was only the Primordial Void—an endless expanse of silence and stillness, where nothing moved, and nothing lived.

Five dragons were born—each embodying a fundamental force that would shape the fledgling universe:

Ignaroth, the Flame Warden, whose breath forged fire and molten earth.

Vaelyndros, the Stormbringer, who commanded winds and skies.

Thalrion, the Deep One, ruler of oceans and hidden depths.

Draxeris, the Stoneheart, eternal guardian of mountains and soil.

Chronarix, Spirit King, master of the unseen essence that binds all life.

Each dragon carved their domain from the chaos, birthing five mighty clans whose fates were intertwined with their creators. These clans wielded powers reflective of their dragon's essence—masters of flame, storm, sea, stone, and spirit itself.

The five creator dragons together created a massive universe from the life force—each a child of the cosmic progenitors—rose to claim their legacies. No longer mere offspring, they became sovereigns of their realms, founding great clans to carry their power and vision forward.

The Age of Uncertainty

This new universe became a playground for beings from other realms. It was the first universe created in such a short span of time and the first to emerge in the last billion years according to the cosmic timeline. The power to create universes was traditionally the gods' alone. Yet, this entire universe was born of five heavenly dragons—outside the gods' dominion. The gods refused to accept this rogue realm.

As the universe peacefully formed—species, galaxies, cosmic rifts, and realms coming into existence—the peace shattered. Otherworldly invaders poured in through cracks in the seal around the universe, created by the five dragons. The dragons sought aid but many species were not fully established. After a century fending for themselves, they looked to a small planet—Earth—in a distant galaxy. The species there (Homo sapiens) proved the most versatile. The dragons offered humans blessings; half accepted, transforming into Dragon-Kin, while others chose peace. The dragons then created a hidden planet, Ardentis, in Earth's orbit but on the opposite side of the sun, erasing memory of these events from the forgotten.

The Foundation of the Five Dragon Clans

Each human who took the blood of a dragon formed a clan:

Clan Pyrothar, born of Ignaroth's fiery forge, masters of flame and renewal.Clan Tempestris, led by Vaelyndros, swift as storms and justice.Clan Zephryss, guardians of ocean secrets and ancient wisdom.Clan Terrakhan, steadfast as mountains, embodying endurance and strength.Clan Abyssalor, followers of Chronarix, command spirits and unseen energies.

Ignaroth's Blessing — The Flame of Renewal

In volcanic mountains, Ignaroth gifted his tribe the Flame's Blood—masters of fire's creation and destruction. From them rose Clan Pyrothar, whose passion kindled rebellion and rebirth.

Vaelyndros's Blessing — The Breath of Storms

From tempestuous skies, Vaelyndros bestowed the Storm's Veil—commanders of wind and lightning. Clan Tempestris soared with relentless force.

Thalrion's Blessing — The Depths' Embrace

From the oceans' depths, Thalrion granted the Tideborn Mark—keepers of watery secrets and calm fury. Clan Zephryss embodied this mystery.

Draxeris's Blessing — The Stone's Resolve

In the mountains, Draxeris bestowed the Earthbound Sigil—strength unyielding and patience eternal. Clan Terrakhan upheld these virtues.

Chronarix's Blessing — Soulflare

In the realm beyond the physical, Chronarix appeared to those who understood spirit's threads. He gifted the power to command spirits, burn illusions, and pierce falsehoods—but at a cost to one's own soul.

From this blessing came Clan Abyssalor—seers and strategists who navigated the currents of spirit and fate.

Thus, the world stood at a crossroads. The ancient dragons and their clans wielded power beyond imagining. The fate of all rested with those who dared to rise—either to restore balance or shatter fragile peace forever.

Ardentis, though young, was born into conflict.

The blessed humans, transformed by dragonblood and displaced from Earth, were Dragon-Kin—strong, swift, and gifted with elemental power, but untrained and divided.

Each clan named a Champion to lead. Among them, one rose above all: Kaerith Val'Dragan, of Clan Abyssalor—seer of spirits, the first mortal to awaken the Fourth Stage of the Heavenly Eye. He united the clans against the invaders.

The First Phase — The War of Blood and Flame

The invaders—Voidborn—were nightmarish creations spilling through the seal's cracks. For seven brutal years, the Dragon-Kin fought on bleeding battlefields. Over a billion perished, yet they never bowed.

Though raw and unstable, their will endured: fire's fury, stone's steadiness, wind's speed, water's calm, and spirit's vision.

Kaerith stood at the center—unshakable, a pillar amid ruin.

The Teachings of the Dragons

After seven years, the five Creator Dragons returned—not to fight, but to teach.

They gifted the clans their ultimate legacy: The Heavenly Eye — a path of perception, harmony, and awakening.

Heavenly Eye — The Five Stages of Draconic Awakening(light to dark)(

🜁 Stage I — Ember Sight (The First Flicker)

"The pulse of a dragon echoes through your blood."

🜁 Stage III — Celestial Gaze (The Eye That Pierces the Veil)

Transcendent Vision and Command

"To see beyond is to invite madness... or mastery."

🜁 Stage IV — Sovereign Eye (The Dragon Within)

Mastery of Power, Will, and Form

The eye can control and suppress weaker beings, distort elemental balance, and command spirits. The user can partially manifest their dragon's form (wings, claws, voice, etc).

"When the eye opens fully, even kings kneel."

🜁 Stage V — Eye of Eternis (The Final Bloom / Eye of Origin)

Unity With the Dragon Soul

"There are no more limits. Only will... and the weight of what comes after."

Clan Pyrothar (Fire) — Fiery Crimson Red

Eyes glow like molten embers or burning coals.

Clan Tempestris (Storm/Wind) — Electric Jade

Eyes flash like lightning or a stormy sky.

Clan Zephryss (Sea/Water) — Deep Ocean Sapphire Blue

Clan Terrakhan (Stone/Earth) — Earthy Amber or Bronze

Clan Abyssalor (Spirit) — Mystic Violet or Ethereal Purple

The Middle Phase — Dominion at the Crimson Verge

A century later, the blessed had become paragons. At the universe's edge, where the seal cracked and bled darkness, lay the Crimson Verge—a battlefield of nightmares.

Kaerith Val'Dragan led the united clans' assault. Pyrothar scorched skies; Tempestris struck like lightning; Terrakhan raised citadels; Zephryss summoned oceans; Abyssalor shattered enemy lines with spirit power.

The Crimson Verge became a bastion. Voidborn horrors faltered. The invaders knew fear.

The universe stood defiant, its will forged by fire, storm, stone, sea, and spirit.

The Final Convergence

After three centuries, the tide turned. The invaders fractured; their ancient leaders slain.

At the heart of the Crimson Verge, the five clan heads, led by Kaerith, unleashed the Eye of Eternis and their dragons' full power—flame, storm, sea, stone, and spirit—rending the enemy's last stronghold.

The Creator Dragons descended, reforging the Cosmic Seal—a lattice of living will and primordial energy.

The rift sealed. The invaders gone.

The universe whole.

The war was over.

Its echoes etched in stars, whispered by spirits, carried in Dragon-Kin blood.

From ruin rose Ardentis—a legacy proving that even against gods, unity, sacrifice, and will shape eternity.
