In the deep heart of Selvayra, beneath the mountains , the ancient caverns of the Vinynx.
Veyron sat upon his throne of bones, legs casually crossed, a goblet of crimson swirling in his hand. A sinister smirk played on his lips as he watched the chaos unfold in a shimmering blood-mirror before him.
Lunarion and Moonveil. Two packs, once bound by the thinnest threads of truce, now lunging for each other's throats.
All according to his plan.
"Mmm," he hummed, sipping lazily. "Such delicious madness."
From the shadows beside him.
A figure.
"Valden," his name rolling off veyron's tongue smoothly, without looking at the young vampire he went on to speak.
"That shadow you sent… " he swirled the goblet, watching the blood spiral, "was weak."
Valden bowed slightly. "It was only meant to stir the hornet's nest, my apologies master. "
Veyron's smirk deepened. "Ah, but I wanted it to sting. You should've killed her. You had one job."
Valden stiffened. "She's powerful. And fast."
"Yes," Veyron whispered. "She is."
He stood, approaching the mirror as Zyra's war banners rose on the horizon. Fire, steel and wrath.
"She's going to destroy Moonveil," Veyron murmured. "And yet…"
His finger traced the reflection until it reached the image of Liora, standing at the walls of the gate, defiant. Glowing faintly with an aura cursed and pure.
He smiled wider.
"…the Night Omega must not fall."
Valden blinked. "You care for her?"
"I don't care for anyone," Veyron said, setting the goblet down. "But she's mine. Touched by prophecy. Blessed by the goddess. Cursed by blood and truths she hasn't even begun to uncover."
He turned, eyes glowing crimson.
"If Zyra kills her, we lose everything."
Valden bowed lower. "I will watch her." He said his heart was cramping, his purple eyes filled with pain as he watched his master look at Liora as his chaste thing . He has always wanted Veyron to look at him that way. Obsess over him only , for centuries he had seen him this way with that last night Omega who had died. He thought he could have a chance since his power obsession in her was gone with her death but he waited for her rebirth and after all those years that went by, Veyron uses him only for pleasure and bidding while plotting to get the Reborn Omega. He snaps back to reality.
"You will do more than that," Veyron said coldly. "If Zyra raises a claw to kill My omega… you stop her."
There was a moment of silence. The "my" burned Valden deeply , he felt like letting Liora die and tell Veyron he didn't see it coming.
Valden bit his lips slightly and nodded, moving swiftly into the morning, luckily he can't burn out when the sun rises– he has his protection.
He was gone.
Veyron chuckled softly, stepping back into the shadows.
"Let the wolves bleed," he whispered to the dark. "Let their teeth's break. He bared his fangs and smirked.
And with that, the mirror cracked slightly at the edge
As if fate itself was starting to fracture
—----
Zyra stood at the front of her warriors, her silver eyes locked on the towering walls of Moonveil. The morning sun cast a golden glow over the battlefield, but there was no warmth in her gaze—only the cold promise of destruction.
Hatred burned in her chest, raw and unyielding.
This pack. These wolves. The ones who had stolen everything from her , now they had tried to murder her ?
Her fingers curled into fists at her sides as memories flooded in. The blood. The screams. The moment she found her parents slain at the hands of a Moonveil warrior. She had been just a child, yet the scent of death had marked her forever.
And still, after all these years, the war had never truly ended.
The enmity between their packs stretched beyond lifetimes, rooted deep in history. But for Zyra, it was personal.
She had let them live too long.
She had been too lenient.
The Moon Goddess, in her twisted sense of fate, thought binding her to the true blood Omega would change anything? That a mate bond would somehow mend the wounds of generations?
How foolish.
Zyra bared her teeth.
She would end it all today.
The Omega was waiting for her. The wolves behind those walls thought they were safe.
But nothing—nothing—would stop her from burning their legacy to the ground.
Zyra ,sighting Liora on top of the wall, gripped the arrow in her hands and threw it over the wall. It struck one of the warriors, she smirked and her chest heaved up and down in fury.
"Are you scared, Omega?!" Zyra's voice thundered across the clearing, raw and furious.
"You shameless coward—how dare you attack me in my sleep! You even stooped so low , so cheaply to use sorcery!"
Her silver eyes burned as she stepped closer to the towering walls of Moonveil, claws unsheathed and aura crackling with rage, her sword tightened beside her waist.
"Come down here and face me," she snarled. "Or I swear, I'll tear this wall down brick by brick and rip these damn gates off their hinges!"
The heavy gates of Moonveil burst open, and from within emerged Liora , her piercing blue eyes locking onto the Alpha standing just beyond the walls. She moved with purpose, her presence commanding, her rage barely contained. The moment Zyra saw her, she didn't hesitate—she lunged.
Their collision was like a storm meeting fire.
Zyra's claws slashed toward Liora's throat, but the Omega twisted away with inhuman speed, her own nails catching Zyra's arm. Blood dripped, but neither backed down. Snarling, she retaliated, aiming a brutal kick at her ribs, only for the Omega to counter, grabbing Zyra's leg and twisting her body, throwing her onto the dirt.
Zyra rolled to her feet instantly, her silver eyes burning.
"You call yourself a True Blood?" she spat. "You're nothing but a stupid Omega. I hate you—with everything in me."
Liora's wolf stirred within her, growling in protest.
"Stay out of this," Liora snarled back at her own mind. "Today, I'm ending this. This bond... it dies with her."
Zyra's voice rose again, venom laced in every word. "I'll kill you today, Liora. Your pack broke the pact when they attacked me. You brought this upon yourselves."
"What are you talking about?" Liora snapped, not processing what she meant "I may be furious at what you did to me that night—but I haven't lifted a hand against you yet!"
"Oh, shut up," Zyra growled. "Your pack lies with every breath. Ungrateful savages. Maybe we should start calling Moonveil what it really is—a rogue pack."
Liora's fury boiled over. She rushed Zyra, and their blades clashed with a deafening clang. Face to face, breaths ragged, their rage was destructive.
"You went crazy over my body, Alpha," Liora hissed. "You wanted me in your rut—and call me a slut just because you can't handle the truth. That this enemy? Is the only one your body craves."
Zyra's lips curled into a twisted smile. "Are you sure about that? I plotted everything, Liora. You were just bait. Any other Omega could've done better."
Liora let out a primal scream and launched herself at Zyra, her blue eyes glowing with fury.
"Attack!" she roared to her warriors. "NOW!"
The battle erupted around them as Moonveil warriors poured from the gates. Steel met claw, fury met vengeance.
And at the center of it all, two fated souls fought like enemies born from fire and shadow.
Zyra spun, slicing her claws through a warrior shoulder, the scent of blood fueling her rage. Another came at her from the side, but she grabbed them by the throat and slammed them into the ground, knocking them unconscious in a single move.
Liora, just as deadly, tore through Lunarion warriors with brutal efficiency. She dodged an incoming strike, driving her knee into her attacker's stomach before flipping him over her shoulder. A spear came flying toward her, but she caught it mid-air and drove it into the chest of a Lunarion wolf who had lunged at her.
Their eyes met through the chaos. This was really a fight to the death
Zyra was faster, Liora was unpredictable. Blow after blow, they clashed, neither yielding, neither giving the other an inch. Every move was fueled by hatred, by the rage of betrayal.
Zyra's fist connected with Liora's jaw, sending the Omega stumbling. But before she could use that advantage, Liora swept her legs out from under her, sending her crashing to the ground.
Zyra growled, flipping back onto her feet.
Liora smirked, blood staining her lips.
She lunged again, her body fueled by pure adrenaline. She twisted mid-air, delivering a powerful kick to her chest that sent the Alpha skidding across the bloodstained battlefield. But Zyra was relentless—before she could fully hit the ground, she flipped backward, landing on her feet, her silver eyes burning with pure fury.
Snarling, Zyra launched herself forward, her claws slicing through the air. The omega barely managed to dodge, but Zyra's next strike grazed her arm, drawing blood. The Omega growled, her blue eyes flashing dangerously. She ducked low, swept her leg beneath and sent the Alpha crashing into the mud.
Thunder rumbled above them, mirroring the storm raging between them.
Sera, on the other hand, was locked in battle with Kael. Their movements were swift, a deadly dance of strikes and counters.
Kael wiped blood from his mouth, smirking. "I thought the omega's Beta was all talk, didn't know you could hold a sword."
Sera growled and swung her sword, but Kael blocked it with his own, the sound of steel ringing through the battlefield. He countered with a brutal punch to her ribs, but she recovered instantly, driving her knee into his stomach. They clashed again, their blades a blur of silver, neither willing to back down.
Meanwhile, Liora and Zyra stood panting, their bodies battered, their wolves howling inside them. Then, without warning, the sky darkened. Thick, rolling clouds swirled above, and within moments, rain poured down in heavy sheets, soaking them to the bone.
Liora froze, her breath hitching as she stared at Zyra.
It was time.
Her voice rang through the storm, powerful and unwavering.
"I, LIORA VEYLAN, TRUE BLOOD OMEGA OF MOONVEIL , REJECT YOU, TRUE BLOOD ALPHA OF LUNARION ."
Thunder roared through the heavens, lightning streaking across the sky …. The Moon Goddess herself had been enraged by those words.
For a moment, everything stood still.
Then Zyra felt it.
A sharp, searing pain erupted in her chest, as if her very soul was being torn apart. Rage and agony crashed over her like a tidal wave, but she refused to fall. Clenching her fists, she raised her head, her silver eyes dark with fury.
"I, ZYRA VALDRIS, TRUE BLOOD ALPHA OF LUNARION , ACCEPT YOUR REJECTION."
A deafening crack of thunder shook the ground.
Both women screamed.
The pain was unbearable. It wasn't just in their bodies—it was in their souls, their very existence. Their wolves howled in anguish, the bond that tied them together unraveling in violent, merciless waves. Liora dropped to her knees, clutching her chest as she choked on the agony.
The bond is broken.

Far across the tree branches, hidden in the shadows, Valden watched the entire scene unfold. He didn't flinch. He simply sighed.
