The rogues stood frozen, their snarls dying in their throats.
What they saw… it made no sense.
Liora stood amidst the chaos, her eyes glowing faintly, magic swirling around her like a storm of light. Werewolves don't have magic. That's what they'd always believed. But there she was glowing, fierce, and terrifyingly calm.
And then, Zyra shifted.
In a burst of raw power, the True Blood Alpha emerged , a massive, jet-black wolf with eerie silver eyes. No words. No warnings.
She charged.
Tearing through the rogues with merciless precision, she became a blur of death and vengeance.
Liora moved beside her not with fangs or claws, but with light. Pure magic erupted from her hands, obliterating enemies with a grace that defied everything about their kind.
The rogues didn't stand a chance.
Confusion turned to panic. And panic turned into chaos.
"The goddesses cursed omega ?" someone whispered.
"Cursed," came another breathless answer.
Aldric stood rooted to the spot, his face a mixture of shock and dread. His daughter… she was awake. Alive. But not like this. Not in that form. He had always feared this day would come.
"She tried to kill Zyra," a Lunarion soldier hissed. "Tried to stab her with her shadow magic."
"She's a witch," another spat. "The cursed rebirth."
Even as Zyra and Liora fought side by side, slaying every last rogue wolf until none remained in Lunarion grounds, the whispers grew louder.
She was the legend made flesh …the Night Omega.
The one who, centuries ago, had killed her own kind , an ally to dark creatures . A creature of immense magic, once bound to a True Blood Alpha… and then slain by her. Her last words before death: "I will return."
Now here she was.
And despite their victory, horror crept into every corner of the battlefield.
When it was over, Zyra let out a long, rattling breath and crumpled to the ground, her wolf form shrinking back into flesh.
Liora collapsed seconds after—limp, cold, and unconscious once more.
Aldric and Sera rushed to Liora, panic lacing their movements. Celestine and Kael bolted to Zyra's side. Their leaders were alive, but not truly awake.
Tension snapped in the air.
The Lunarion pack stared daggers at Moonveil, even the moonveils glared at their leader …eyes dark with suspicion and fear. They had once fought beside them, but now? Now they saw only the ancient threat reborn. They saw history repeating itself.
Cursed Omega.
"You see her?" one Lunarion elder whispered. "She is the reason half of our ancestors are dead."
"Her mate killed her last time. Our ancestral trueblood Alpha saved us."
"Then maybe we should finish the job and chain her spirit from ever getting reborn"
Kael unsheathed his sword, voice laced with venom. "Leave. Now. Or we'll end your pack right here, right now, we only show mercy for the unyielding strength but we do not want to be a part of the cursed thing in your hands. Leave Now."
Sera stepped forward, calm but fierce, twin daggers drawn. "We'll leave. You don't need to raise blades for that."
She shifted in one smooth motion and carefully placed Liora on her back. The Moonveil warriors rallied behind her in silence, forming a protective circle around their unconscious Omega.
Aldric followed, his steps slow and broken. He hadn't wanted this. He had hidden her for so long, trained her differently, gently. But now the truth was out and there was no telling what they'd do next.
Zyra and Liora had saved them all… but fear had already won.
—-------------------
The journey back to the Moonveil grounds was heavy with silence.
When they arrived, their home ….Grass had already started to grow again where the fires had died. The land seemed to breathe, as if welcoming them back.
They pitched tents in quiet unity.
Aldric gathered the elders and warriors under the ghostly moonlight.
"Tomorrow at dawn, we will rebuild!!!" he said firmly
"Yes," they all answered in one voice.
—------------—-
Far away, in the heart of the Vaelinx vampire clan, another moment was unfolding.
Ciara, still chained to the bed, glared at the iron cuffs around her wrists. Her lips trembled with fatigue and fury.
Valena sat beside her, watching.
"Please," Ciara whispered, voice cracking. "Unchain me. I won't run."
Vaelna tilted her head, considering.
"I will… on one condition."
Ciara blinked. "Anything."
Valena leaned closer, her eyes glowing faintly.
"Mark me."
"Are you insane?" Ciara snapped, struggling against the chains. "I will never mark a thing like you."
Vaelna tilted her head, her expression unreadable. "A thing? That's a harsh word from someone who can't stop staring."
"I'm staring because I'm disgusted," Ciara hissed, though her eyes lingered a moment too long.
Vaelna's yellow eyes gleamed like molten honey. "Even your precious True Blood Omega doesn't shine like I do. Be honest… have you ever seen anyone like me?"
Ciara's resolve wavered for a second. Vaelna's beauty was undeniably captivating .
Sharp cheekbones, luminous skin, and an elegance that seemed woven from shadow and starlight. She wore a revealing robe that clung to her like smoke, accentuating her graceful curves.
But Ciara clenched her jaw. "You're still a vampire."
"And you're still mine," Vaelna said softly, leaning in until their faces were inches apart. "I've waited centuries for a mate ,vampires don't have mates but every single time I couldn't touch anyone no matter how hard I tried. Your moon goddess chose you and retained me for you against my will , and now that I've found you, I won't let go. I accept this fate" she paused and licked her lips
"Besides you are one sexy Alpha , I really have no objections to this bond."
"I won't mark you," Ciara growled. "I don't accept this bond."
"Then reject me." Vaelna's voice turned challenging. "Go ahead."
Before Ciara could respond, Vaelna pinned her down in a flash. Their lips met in a fierce kiss that stole the air from Ciara's lungs. She thrashed, but the strength in Vaelna's grip and the sensation left her confused.
"Steady," Vaelna whispered against her lips. "You feel it too. Don't lie to yourself."
Ciara gasped. "I'm scared. This is too much."
"Scared? The Alpha of Moonveil, afraid?" Vaelna chuckled softly, her tone teasing. "Isn't that unusual?"
Her tongue traced Ciara's collarbone, slow and teasing. "Didn't you say in the forest you weren't scared?"
Her lips trailed to Ciara's neck, sending a shiver racing through her body. Ciara's breath caught as conflicting emotions warred inside her fear, confusion, and something dangerously close to longing.
Ciara struggled, but Valena's grip was firm, her kisses soft but persistent. Cold skin met warm skin, and a strange electricity passed between them. Her senses spiraled.
"Mark me," Vaelna whispered again against her ear. "Forget the trueblood Omega".
"No" she said again
"Oh, Alpha…" Valena purred, trailing kisses down her neck. "Isn't that adorable?"
"You….you're insane," Ciara said, her breath uneven.
"Hmm. , are you sure you are an Alpha… your body says omega."
Ciara hissed. "I am not an omega!"
"No?" Valena smirked. "Then explain these…"
In one swift motion, her silk rope slipped, exposing her chest. Ciara's chains rattled her hands tugged in vain.
"I've starved for centuries," Valena whispered. "Let me taste, Alpha."
Ciara shook her head. "No… no, I don't—"
Too late. Valena's tongue flicked over her breast, slow at first… then faster. Her other hand roamed her body expertly, eliciting moans Ciara couldn't suppress.
"Ahh ahh… stop please…"
"Please what?" Valena teased.
"Please… leave me…"
"Are you sure?" Valena asked, eyes gleaming.
Her tongue quickened. Ciara gasped, her body arching. Her eyes flashed glowing bright and before she realized it, her fangs sank into Valena's neck.
"Ohhh, Alpha," Valena moaned, drunk on pleasure. "You couldn't wait, could you?"
Ciara pulled back, horrified.
"Damn it…, i don't like you," Ciara spat..
"That's fine," Vaelna murmured, finally releasing her wrists. "You will. Eventually."
She rose and walked to the door, casting one last glance over her shoulder. "I'll wait."
The door closed with a soft click, and Ciara was left alone in silence. Her thoughts raced as she stared at the ceiling.

Celestine sat beside Zyra, gently brushing her hair.
Serena, sitting nearby, barely hid her longing. "She's… beautiful," she murmured.
"Tomorrow is the full moon," Celestine whispered, ignoring her remarks on Zyra's beauty.
"The witches will arrive , I assure you." Serena said confidently.
