Part 3 – Fear Within the Glitch
Location: Kryonexus – Sector 7C, Old Metro Line
The old metro station — now reduced to a dark, abandoned tunnel.
Lights were flickering. Wires hung from the ceiling.
And on the ground, a strange liquid-like glitch — pixelated smoke — was crawling slowly.
Arshan (in a low voice):
"This place... feels like a haunted zone."
Zyana (in a professional tone):
"The DAO signal is unstable.
This glitch isn't normal — these are signs of a Dengen emergence."
Arshan:
"Dengen? You haven't even told me what they are yet."
Zyana:
"For your understanding, in one line:
Dengens are DAO-born monstrosities.
They are drift-carrying threats — coded in corruption."

First Contact – DAO Breach
Suddenly, a high-pitched frequency echoed from the left wall.
A section of the wall began to vibrate — pixels distorting violently,
as if something invisible was cracking through from the inside.
BOOM.
Concrete exploded.
And a creature emerged... part-shadow, part-glitch.
Its body was fractured — sparks and binary lines leaking from it.
Its eyes — glowing red, emitting static noise.
Each of its steps left behind a glitching waveform.
Zyana (shocked):
"Confirmed: Drift-Infected Dengen.
This is not a training level. This is survival."

Fight Begins
Arshan (hesitating):
"I don't even have a real weapon!"
Zyana:
"System Blade injecting… NOW."
A blue blade formed holographically in Arshan's hand.
Zyana:
"Target the core — center of the chest —
That's where the Drift's glitch node will be exposed."
The Dengen leapt forward.
Arshan narrowly dodged.
He swung the blade — sparks flew.
The first hit missed.
The second cut — the Dengen's left arm glitched out.
Zyana (guiding):
"Good. Keep the pressure on.
Don't fight with emotion… fight with pattern."

Public Reaction + Viral Clip
A drone cam had recorded the entire fight.
An alert was sent to the city's system servers:
> "Unregistered User in Zone 7C… engaged in Class-B Dengen combat.
Public thread started: Who is this guy?"**
News Flash on App:
> "Unknown Hunter? DAO Scout goes full gladiator!"
Memes begin to flood in:
> "Bro came outta nowhere and started solo-ing a corrupted beast."
"System's job was small, but the guy did it big."

Climax Strike
The Dengen leapt toward Arshan.
Holding the blade with both hands, Arshan locked in his timing.
"If I don't strike now... it's all over."
SLASH!
The blade pierced right into the center of the glitch core.
The Dengen froze… and within a second, dissolved completely.
Silence.
Heavy breathing.
Glowing particles floated through the air in slow motion.
Zyana (soft voice):
"Mission complete.
Welcome to reality."
