Zayden was dumbfounded as nothing like this had ever happened in his previous life. Well, he did do things that he had never done in his previous life, so this was to be expected. But this brought him to one question.
"What has the power to override the system?" he muttered.
Even in his previous life, no one had ever been able to come close to finding out the origin of the system, let alone overriding it. This meant that something with way more power than the system or whatever created the system had its eyes on him, but he didn't know whether it was a good or bad thing.

Seeing his new stats screen, there were a lot of things that Zayden noticed. Firstly was his race. 'Am I no longer human?' he thought.
His mind went back to the pain he faced when getting his constellation, and his expression couldn't help but change. 'Even though my race has changed, why can't I see it on my stat screen?'
He remembered the constellation talking about how his kind had already devoured their fifth star at his age. The constellation seemed to know him very well; he knew things about himself that even Zayden didn't know, only giving him bits and pieces which left him confused.
With no answers to his questions, Zayden could only give up on his questions for now.
The next thing that he noticed was that he didn't have the phantom blade again. "Of course not, I rejected the constellation," Zayden sighed. There was nothing he could do about it now that it was gone.
With that, his gaze landed on the only skill in his inventory. With a thought, information about the skill appeared in front of him.

This was the most extensive information about a skill that Zayden had seen in both lifetimes. And reading the skill, Zayden was pretty pleased. It was the only skill he needed. And to form other skills, he just needed his imagination.
He was ecstatic.
With a thought, Zayden activated flux manipulation.
A weird mass of dark purplish gold energy floated above his open palms. Its shape shifts between a solid rock, a blob of weird liquid, and a mass of gas. Seeing this weird energy, Zayden suddenly felt like he had absolute control over it.
All Zayden needed was an intent of his will, and the mass of oblivion flux changed into five tendrils with sharp ends. Zayden suddenly felt weak, and his face became slightly pale.

Zayden was shocked before releasing a slight chuckle. "Of course, for something as strong as this, there must be a corresponding payment," Zayden said as he dismissed the skill.
"With the energy consumption, depending on what I make, I can only use it for a few moves," Zayden said. "But it's not bad anyway, very useful to survive the apocalypse."
Zayden was about to continue on his pondering when he heard a loud crackling sound like the striking of thunder.
He turned his head to look at Tyrel's cocoon, where different streaks of golden lightning snaked across the surface of the cocoon for a few minutes.
The streaks of golden lightning suddenly converged together, forming the face of an old man with a long white beard and a wrinkled face. The pressure he was giving was very strong.
Seeing this, a name entered Zayden's mind. "Zeus," Zayden said in shock. "Tyrel managed to form a contract with Zeus, one of the supreme gods of Olympus."
Webbed cracks appeared on the surface of the cocoon, and it shattered, revealing a naked Tyrel curled up into a ball. On his back was the constellation of a thunderbolt bolt but unlike Zayden's constellation, it was made out of fifty-four stars with only one of them giving a faint silver glow.
This wasn't the only thing about Tyrel that changed. His once blonde hair was now golden and long enough to be tied up into a silky smooth long ponytail. His skin had become fairer, and the aura of a playboy who was out to break the heart of multiple ladies became stronger.
Tyrel stood up and turned around to see Zayden. His once blue irises were now golden.
"I can see that you succeeded in contracting a constellation," Zayden said
"Yes, and I even managed to see Zeus," Tyrel said, excitement flashing in his eyes.
Zeus was a literal legend, one that parents would tell their kids before they go to bed. he was a god, not just any god, but the ruler of Olympus, one of the strongest groups of gods in legends. So the fact that Tyrel managed to see the real Zeus was already worthy of worship on earth.
"Tyrel, I would love to hear about your adventures with Zeus," Zayden said, "but unfortunately, I'm not into guys," Zayden said, looking at Tyrel's junior brother, who was waving at him.
Tyrel's face turned red in embarassment and mock anger. "We shall speak not a word of what happen here" Tyrel said before running into the dorm.
Zayden chuckled slightly.
His eyes suddenly landed on the shells of his cocoon. He could feel a slight aura on the shells calling out to him.
Zayden already knew that the shells of the cocoon formed for the advancement were a treasure. This was because they absorbed slight energy from the constellation during the advancement.
They could be used to form weapons with great compatibility with said constellation. In rare cases, they were able to form artificial soul armaments when used to forge.
Knowing all of this, there was no way Zayden would miss this. He quickly kept the shells in his spatial ring. Thinking back to his system rewards, it seemed like the system was giving forging materials in preparation for this.
"Maybe the legendry reward is actually a spirit flame" Zayden pondered as he brought the blue orb out of his spatial ring.
A spirit flame was the only thing that could be used to forge the shells. They were of different ranks but even a low tier spirit flame was enough to forge the shells. They could be found normally, but their rarity was very high so the only chance of gaining a spirit flame was through the system reward.
Without hesitation, he smashed the orb unto the ground and a pillar of blinding blue light shot into the sky, he could be seen by almost everyone in the city.
Zayden had to shield his eyes until the light died down. In place of the blue orb, Zayden actually saw an egg.
The egg was the size of a chicken egg but this egg wasn't white. It had a navy blue color with different darkish gold patterns on the surface of the egg.
In curiosity, Zayden picked up its egg and the information of the egg appeared in front of him.
