"You guys can't kill me!" Eden suddenly snapped, pulling his head out of the hole and looking up at the audience.
Shocked and confused, The nobles stared at each other and looked at Eden wondering what he was up to now.
"I can't be killed…" Eden said, boldly.
"What's he up to now?" A lady asked.
"Is he plotting something? Why can't he be killed?" Another added.
"End his blabbing and send his head flying!" A noble yelled from behind, followed by a cheer.
But Eden wasn't done. He got up and moved backwards.
"You can't kill me because I'm carrying the Crown Prince's baby!" Eden placed a hand over his stomach.
"....."
Jaws dropped. Faces went pale. Eyebrows were raised. Everyone wondered if they heard that right.
The king and Queen's raised brows and the Crown Prince's expression fell into shock and panic at the same time.
"What the hell are you talking about? What nonsense??!" Someone snapped from the audience.
"You're pregnant for the Crown Prince? How's that even possible? You're a guy! Quit blabbing nonsense you stupid Wizard!" Another added.
Eden defended. "I am a guy and also a magical wizard. So it's not impossible!"
"And I speak the truth when I say that I have the Crown Prince's baby in my stomach!" Eden still had his hands on his stomach.
Everyone began murmuring in shock. Eyes ran from one place to another, mostly falling on the crown prince who sat there glaring at Eden without saying anything. Yet.
Having seen that the atmosphere had gotten chaotic, Eden continued "So how dare you lay hands on me! The lover of The Crown Prince who carries a royal blood?! That's a sacrilege!"
Everyone there were stunned by Eden's persistence in the "nonsense" he was uttering. Some even began questioning if there was some truth in what he was saying. Because after all, he was a magical being.
But with the Crown Prince?! They doubted!
"Do you want to be killed for uttering such disgusting nonsense against the Royal family? Don't you know the weight of the nonsense you're spilling??" The king angrily Stood up, glaring down at Eden
Eden stood firm, his expression more firm. He was giving the best acting he had probably ever giving in his life!
"I am not lying. I am the lover of The Crown Prince. And the two of us had made love to each other in bed a countless times. We even did so yesterday"
"..." Everyone went pale in shock. Speechless.
Some women even started covering the ears of their children.
But Eden continued nevertheless "Our warm bodies cuddled up to each other, naked in bed. His lips running through mine while outlining my body down to my legs and…"
"Shut up!" The Crown Prince finally got up to his feet. Furious.
The whole audience were already too stunned to speak. No one had anything to say aloud. All they could do was turn to each other and mutter whatever they had in mind.
"How dare you spill such disgusting nonsense about a Royal body like me! Don't you know you can die a thousand times because of such sacrilegious words?!" He was boiling up
But Eden didn't care. This was his shot at staying alive.
"Are you denying me now, My Love?" Eden stared at The Crown prince affectionately. "After all we've been through to make our baby?"
The noble ladies in front shun their eyes while placing a hand over their mouths.
"Oh, this is getting dirty" One muttered to the other.
"The crown prince and a wizard? Together…? Oh that's scandalous" another added.
"Scandalously intriguing…." One giggled to the other.
The Crown Prince pulled out his sword and pointed it down to Eden. "One more word and you'll have it…"
"What will you do?" Eden questioned "Kill me and silence our century long love?" Eden guessed he was exaggerating now, but oh well.
"Century long??" A noble lady stared at the other.
"That's.. a long time to make a baby" Another giggled.
"Since you don't want them to know. I guess I'll let them all see more of us" Eden said staring at the audience "I'll show them our symbol of love and union!"
Eden got out the necklace and raised it, showing it to everyone. The royal necklace he snatched from The Crown Prince's neck yesterday.
Everyone gasped.
"Oh dear! The Crown Prince's royal necklace" A Noble lady gasped aloud.
"They are… truly…" another forgot to shut her eyes and mouth which dropped open.
"Baby makers…" the last gasped softly.
Everyone was mumbling now. Speechless. They couldn't deny that that was the Prince's royal necklace. A royal ornament that belonged to The Crown Prince alone.
"He … it really is…"
"I can't believe it.. how did he get it…?"
"Maybe it's true…they… maybe…"
"They really are… ?"
Eden smiled, now staring at Elvis as he said "This is what he gave me. A symbol of our love. One that signifies his undying love for me"
Elvis was now running his hands around his neck. It was just then that he realized that his necklace was gone. And now he glared at Eden who had it in his hands
Elvis briefly recalled the forced kiss and all. It now made sense to him what Eden did then "You Monster…!" Elvis wanted to yell in fury but suddenly got dizzy as he staggered.
He had been dizzy since morning. Supposedly a continuation of the mysterious illness that began yesterday. And he looked rather pale at a closer look.
Eden observed him for a while "Perfect" Eden thought "The pill worked"
Now Eden said "I told you that loving me, My Prince, would make you fall ill. I'm a wizard and you're just a human. Our love would make you ill. But you refused and loved me without measures, even if it brought you illness!" Eden said, almost faking a tear drop.
"Oh dear" A noble lady placed both hands over her mouth, stunned.
"Their love…. " Another shocked her head.
"A forbidden one. Just like the one I read when I traveled to the neighboring kingdom" One added.
The atmosphere was getting louder with murmurs. People were still stunned by all that was unfolding. They couldn't believe that truly The Crown Prince and The wizard were actually lovers.
It was an abomination to the ears. Not even the love between the prince and a wizard. But love between two men!
Elvis staggered for awhile before looking around. Everyone had their eyes on him, they were muttering in shock. Obviously stunned about everything that they heard. It was a sure fact that he was going to be the hot topic of discussion across the lands with their rumour.
"You devil…" Elvis turned to look at Eden who stood there with the necklace in hand.
"Stop!" The King finally spoke up again.
The King and Queens were speechless and mortified by at all that Eden ha said. They couldn't take it anymore.
"Don't speak anymore" The King glared at Elvis, obviously disappointed. He then got up and stared at Eden.
"You devious wizard. Renounce all you've said now or face my royal wrath!" The King threatened, trying to be calm. He was already humiliated. His son had brought his name to the mud so he was trying to save it.
"I can't lie My King. All I said is true. The Crown Prince and I are lovers. And I am with his child!" Eden Persisted "And you can't kill your royal blood publicly… can you?"
Eden doesn't have any freaking baby on him! And he didn't plan for it! So he hoped no tests were made. Else it'd he over for him!
"I can't believe my ears…" A noble lady mumbled.
"This is the most scandalous thing I've heard all my life" Another noble lady added.
"So the Royal baby is in the stomach of a male wizard? That's scandalous indeed"
"I wonder what the King will do? Kill his royal blood?"
"I doubt. I'd be more scandalous"
"But he can't also accept this royal blood. There's nothing more scandalous that accepting a royal baby made by two guys!"
"But two guys? Making a baby? How on earth is that even possible? Who did the did??"
The noble ladies were hot with their gossips already!
"Father…" Elvis turned to his father "I'll handle this mess"
The king glared at him. Already disappointed in him. No one needed to to tell Elvis that his father was going to punish him gravely for this mess. Even if it's true or not!
The King said nothing as Elvis turned and jumped off the elevated place the royalties sat on.
He landed on the scaffold, right Infront of Eden who gasped in shock.
Eden blinked as he wondered "Is he here to kill me? He possibly can't… Right?"
Immediately The Crown Prince pulled out his sword and placed it close to Eden's neck. It was sharp and glowing under the harsh sun.
Eden stared at the sword close to his neck and looked up at Elvis.
"My Prince, hasn't anyone taught you not to raise a sword at your lover? It's much more polite to speak with your mouth, and not your sword" Eden said in a low tone, staring straight into Elvis's fireriy eyes.
"I can kill you on the spot, you know that right?" He questioned Eden in a soft tone.
Eden smiled "Try it. And the chaos here will go wild. Good luck explaining to the world why you killed your lover who has your royal baby. And also… Good luck surviving from the poison in you that will trigger anytime soon"
"..."
Elvis was shocked as he glared at Eden. "What Poison?"
Eden chuckled softly "Our Kiss Poison"
