Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Towards Saint Denis

The next morning.

At the Horseshoe Overlook camp.

"Oh, gentlemen, ladies, don't sleep anymore, Jenny, Ms. O'Shea, and Karen, Mary-Beth, all up, ladies."

Dutch's voice boomed early in the morning, forcing the gang members, accustomed to sleeping in, to abandon their beautiful dreams and sit up, groggy and disheveled.

"Dutch? What's wrong, Dutch? It's just morning!"

"Oh, I'm so sleepy, Dutch!"

The ladies complained, but Dutch paid no attention, looking instead at Arthur, who had just woken up.

"Arthur, oh, Arthur, get yourself ready, we're going to Saint Denis today."

"Alright, Dutch!" Arthur rubbed his eyes and sat up from the bed.

The morning air was especially fresh, invigorating the lungs.

It took the gang members half an hour to get ready. By this time, Dutch, who had already had his morning romp with Ms. O'Shea, was fully dressed and walked to the table in the middle of the camp.

"Kids, gather 'round, I'm going to assign your tasks for today." Dutch waved, gathering everyone.

"Dutch, what are we doing today? Is our plan ready to begin?" Jenny excitedly leaned close to Dutch, affectionately hugging his left shoulder.

This girl had never experienced paternal or maternal love since childhood. After Dutch rescued her twice, her entire heart was drawn to Dutch, who was like a father to her. In her mind, Dutch was her true father, and the father of her dreams.

Charming, confident, gentle, and loving.

"Yes, it's about to begin, Jenny." Dutch patted her head, then looked at the crowd that had gathered in front of him.

"Gentlemen, our plan is about to officially begin. However, since our personnel are not yet complete, I will explain the specific detailed development in a couple of days. Your task today is simple.

Yesterday, Hosea and I went to Valentine to look at ranches for sale, chose two ranches, and have already finalized discussions with Mr. Bandel, the bank manager. Your task today is to purchase those two ranches in Ms. O'Shea's name. Then, go to Hope Happiness Ranch, located between Valentine and Strawberry, to tidy up the rooms and move some of our supplies there first.

Micah, you will follow the ladies to Valentine later to complete the ranch purchase plan. Be sure to protect them. Strauss, you must carefully protect all the money in our camp; this is all our startup capital.

Bill, Uncle, you two guard the camp; don't let anyone in while we are away.

Ms. Grimshaw, Lenny, and Abigail, Ms. Sadie, the four of you pack up the supplies in the camp that are ready to be moved. Once these ladies have purchased the houses, transfer them to our new ranch.

Gentlemen, ladies. I know our lives haven't been easy recently, but now we've recovered, and our lives are gradually getting better. These two ranches are the beginning of our new start. So, gentlemen, ladies, go to work, and strive to make our lives even better!"

Dutch was full of confidence, and his personal charisma during his speech was fully displayed. Seeing him, one always felt that this man was omnipotent, giving an unparalleled sense of trust.

"Oh, Dutch, I love you, Dutch, I can't believe we're actually going to own a, oh no, two ranches someday!" Abigail danced with joy, jumping up and down excitedly.

This woman, who had dreamed of a stable life since giving birth to little Jack, felt as if God had touched her forehead at this moment, granting her the most perfect moment.

"Hahaha, Dutch, are we really going to live in a house?" Karen was even happier, hugging Abigail and laughing wildly, her two large breasts jiggling, drawing attention.

Mary-Beth was also very happy, but she was gentle by nature, bouncing up and down in place, showing the freshness of a young girl.

Jenny was even happier, hugging Dutch and spinning around. She hadn't expected that she had just found a perfect father, Dutch. And now, in a short moment, she had a complete family, a perfect home.

Looking at the ladies' happy faces, Hosea smiled contentedly.

He was happy, truly happy now, as the people he worried about most seemed to be genuinely moving towards a brighter future, within his sight.

"Alright, Arthur, Hosea, and Molly, Mary-Beth, Jenny, Karen, Tilly, Micah. It's time for us to depart."

Dutch waited for everyone's excitement to subside, then waved his hand.

Three horses and a carriage slowly left the camp, heading towards Valentine.

The ladies chattered excitedly on the road, constantly discussing the rooms they wanted, the lives they desired, singing vulgar songs, and expressing their inner joy.

After meeting with Mr. Bandel with the ladies, Dutch then took Hosea and Arthur to buy train tickets to Saint Denis, and then headed towards Saint Denis.

The arrival of civilization is an unstoppable trend, impossible to resist or contend with. Smart people can only seize the opportunity, planning before acting.

With the enhancement of his trans-temporal vision, the support of his gang members, and his own invincibility cheat, if Dutch were to let the gang fall apart again, he would be a complete idiot.

A train whistled as it headed towards distant Saint Denis. The three men in the carriage, Dutch, Hosea, and Arthur, were like MacArthur newly arrived on the battlefield in his younger days, like three greenhorns.

---

It took a full day, until midnight, for a train to finally enter Saint Denis from Valentine.

Dutch, Hosea, and Arthur got off the train, looking at Saint Denis before them, and Dutch let out a heartfelt sigh of emotion.

"Oh, Saint Denis, the ark of civilization in the West, it truly makes my blood boil. This is the shock brought by civilization, Arthur, Hosea, look at this large city before us. How can we continue to fight against civilization? The only thing we can do is to integrate into it, and even surpass it!"

Dutch spread his arms, his words always full of allure, making them sound very reasonable, but upon closer thought, they didn't seem to hold much practical sense.

"The city is nice, but the people here seem to live with some disparity. I don't particularly like this place." Arthur, on the other hand, didn't much care for Saint Denis.

The train station was located in the slums of Saint Denis. Seeing the thin, poorly dressed poor people passing by, and recalling the well-dressed rich people he had seen on the train earlier, Arthur felt for the first time that living in a gang might not be so bad after all.

"Arthur, that's how civilization is, full of hidden filth, with a shiny surface." Hosea patted Arthur's shoulder, then walked towards Dutch.

"Dutch, let's find a place to sleep now. I didn't realize we would be on the train all day. This place is really far."

"Of course, Hosea, I imagine you can't hold out any longer either." Dutch smiled and nodded, then the three mounted their horses, which they had transported, and slowly walked towards the center of Saint Denis.
