Back in silence again, I thought to myself. Damn, what do I do now? I've never been in a situation like this.
I paused for a second. Wait... what about the bugs I left behind? I hope they just vanished magically. I really don't wanna deal with that stuff in another world too.
A few seconds passed as I started to recall what the island was like.
To sum it up, it was a huge place divided into four parts:
The center, where the castle was — surrounded by a small town — and where I currently was, acted as the main hub connecting all areas.
The first part looked like a classic fantasy world, with lots of stone and wood buildings. Nothing too complicated in its construction.
The second part had structures inspired by Edo-period Japan. It was based on a map I was assigned to review but ended up leaving aside. I used that area to test mechanics that weren't possible in the first one.
The third looked like a ruin zone. I used it for testing random constructions.
The fourth part was a desert. Probably the most dangerous area, full of broken stuff and bugged elements I left to fix later.
Just as I was about to voice a question that popped into my mind, I was interrupted — again — by the sound of footsteps.
Already a bit annoyed, I thought. Seriously? Am I going to be interrupted every damn time I try to do something?
From the corridor came a figure — a black-winged angel. I recognized her instantly — Azathoth, Luxian's twin sister. As beautiful as her sibling, but with some notable differences: more pronounced curves, a black dress with golden accents, ruby red eyes, a blood-colored halo, and jet-black hair matching her six wings.
She entered with a clearly irritated look on her face. I froze, unsure how to react.
Stopping just behind the edge of the carpet, she said, "What did my sister do this time, Khan?"
Then she turned her gaze toward the two kneeling figures, clearly in disbelief. "Even Gurath on her knees!? Yeah, we're definitely in another world."
I was confused. Azathoth was acting completely normal, while the other two were overly respectful.
Luxian stood up trembling. "I-I didn't do anything, sister! Wasn't this the meeting point we agreed on?"
Azathoth looked at me. "Is that true, my dear~?"
Not understanding anything, completely lost in the situation, I stayed quiet.
Gurath stepped in. "I told Iris to inform everyone."
After speaking, already on her feet, she hugged her plush shark so tightly it looked like she was trying to strangle it.
Azathoth sighed, shaking her head slightly. "Got it. I know who to blame now."
I just kept watching, trying to make sense of the situation.
With a confused tone, Azathoth asked, "Why do we have another throne room?"
Luxian cleared her throat, drawing attention. "That was my idea. We made this hall to deal with lower life forms. I didn't want the main throne room to get dirty with trash, so I asked Gurath to set up a separate one."
I thought about it for a moment. Honestly... smart move. I wouldn't want to stay in a room where someone pissed on the floor either.
I glanced at the place where the pee had been. Already clean.
Thought to myself. Do the floors clean themselves? If that's true, then we don't need maids? That's kinda sad. I really wanted to see one in those classic maid uniforms...
My thoughts were cut off again by Azathoth. "Hm, if that's the case, sounds reasonable. We should return to the main hall now. Everyone's waiting. I was there too, but I came out to find them."
I was a bit shocked, but didn't show it. Thought quietly. All of them? Seriously? I thought I'd meet them one by one at this pace.
Seeing her still waiting for a reply, I just gave in. "If they're all waiting, we better hurry then."
As I put weight on the throne to get up, it cracked a little.
I thought. That was the same force I used before... is this one made from different material?
I looked at my hand, getting distracted. Azath snapped me back with pride in her voice. "That's normal for something not made by you, dear~."
A little embarrassed by the "dear," I tried to keep cool. "What do you mean, not made by me?"
She responded like it was obvious. "This throne was made by Gurath. She can create items, but the quality's still average. It's not really her strength."
I saw Gurath shrink at those words.
I couldn't just stand there seeing her like that, so I tried to cheer her up. "Don't feel bad, Gurath. The throne was great. It's my fault for putting too much pressure and breaking one of its arms."
She seemed to cheer up a little, so I shifted the topic. "Let's move on then. Time to go to the main throne room. They've probably waited long enough."
My footsteps were heavy, muffled by the carpet, as I walked toward Azathoth. She turned and started walking, guiding the way. Luxian and Gurath followed behind me.
We retraced the same corridor. The stairs were behind us now. On the left were huge windows, on the right, a plain white wall. We soon reached those massive doors again.
We stopped in front of them and heard the loud, heavy steps of the giant armors moving.
I thought. Why didn't they open like this when Gurath arrived? Did she just push the doors open herself?
No time to think more — the doors swung open, revealing beautiful women standing before the throne, waiting for us.
I got nervous from all those stares. Almost didn't notice Azath had started walking again.
I followed her, kind of on autopilot. As we neared the throne, she stepped aside and gave me space.
I climbed the five steps. The sound of my heavy footsteps echoed. Sitting down, I got a full view of all of them.
Before I could even process anything, Azathoth spoke up. "Let us begin our first meeting in another world."
Now things didn't feel like a misunderstanding anymore. All of them kneeled on the purple carpet and bowed their heads.
Seeing how serious it looked, I got nervous. I thought we'd all be equals... I was wrong.
Took a deep breath. Guess I'll play along then.
I spoke. "You may look at me."
The moment I said it, they all lifted their heads. It was... intense.
Swallowing my nerves, I asked calmly, "Why are you kneeling? I never told you to see me as someone above you."
Azathoth responded casually. "We'd like to maintain this formality during important meetings. It helps things flow more efficiently."
Her answer made sense, so I didn't press. "Understood. I won't ask again. Let's get to the point of this meeting then."
They all bowed again, except for Luxian. I figured it was her turn to speak.
Luxian opened her mouth. "Report: I've captured lower life forms. As you saw earlier, I'm still waiting for full intel from the captives."
She paused and continued. "However, I do have partial info. Near the sixth tower, there's an unknown village — that's where the captives came from. It's currently abandoned; they all ran in a panic."
Scratching my chin, I muttered. "Hm, seems like we really are on another planet."
Thought to myself. Two universes colliding? Or maybe just two different planets?
Pushed the thought aside and called out. "Azath."
She raised her head. Luxian lowered hers.
I asked. "Is it possible to move the island?"
She paused for a moment, thinking. "With your help... I think it might be."
I froze. My help? What does that even mean?
Took a moment, then responded. "Alright. We'll check that out later."
Had to postpone it — I didn't even know what I was capable of.
I continued. "Since your head is already up, mind sharing your findings?"
She responded firmly. "Yes!"
Then continued in a more composed tone. "I fixed the island's falling issue by using the artificial sun's energy to power one of your scripts. It reverses the attraction values, creating repulsion with almost equal force. The island rises, falls a bit, and loops — keeping it stable for now."
Didn't expect that. It sounded unreal.
I didn't fully get it, and too embarrassed to ask, I just said, "I see."
Already flustered, I moved on. "Since Azath's done and Gurath's been by my side the whole time, I'll skip her. Lilith, your turn now."
Hearing her name, Lilith raised her head. Her eyes locked onto mine with a dangerously seductive gaze, and for a second, I almost lost myself in the sight. Her dress was mature, bold, and perfectly cut to highlight every curve. It was made to tempt — no doubt about it. I only managed to admire her for a few seconds before her voice snapped me back.
Lilith answered in a soft, teasing tone."Yes~"
She paused, then continued."I went to check the desert area. Alice and I figured something weird might've happened with the bugs because of the new environment. Luckily, nothing strange came up. Right, Alice~?"
Alice lifted her head shortly after. Her cat ears perked up, alert."That's right, nya~. Everything looked normal, nya~."
Watching how stiff and cute she was, I couldn't help but think: Damn, she's adorable.
Shaking off that thought, I turned toward the next one."Your turn, Livia."
She immediately stood out. Her outfit looked like that of a nun, though her long pointed ears betrayed her elven heritage. I remembered clearly — I made her like that to test a belief system. She was designed to be the most devoted believer of all.
She raised her head with a bright, passionate look in her eyes."As my beloved Creator wishes~"
Those words gave me chills. But she didn't stop.
"I went to check on the island's people after the sudden fall. I feared some structures might've collapsed… that my Creator's people could've been hurt. But doubting your creation was a mistake."She paused, now blushing, her voice slightly trembling with excitement."Please punish me in the cruelest way possible, I beg you."
…
I froze. Completely. No idea how to react.
I tried to steer the conversation away, stuttering a bit."R-Right… we'll deal with that later. Iris, your turn now."
I turned to face the last one. Iris already had her head raised. Another elf. Her pink eyes sparkled, and her white hair was perfectly neat.
She gave me a cheerful smile."Yes!"
Her tone was full of enthusiasm."I apologize for my sister! But what she said is true — nothing really happened. The people just got a bit scared."
She paused and thought, tapping her finger to her lips like she was trying to remember something. After a moment, her face lit up again."Ah, that's what I forgot! The general announcement! I need to tell the people not to panic."
The room went silent.
I sighed, rubbing my temple. Thought to myself: Of course. How could I forget this side of her? She acts all innocent, but she's a chaos magnet.
In a tired tone, I asked:"Can you give the announcement now?"
She hesitated for a moment, then replied in a playful voice."Eh~, but it's so boring, you know?~ I'm sure they've already figured out everything's fine."
Before I could say anything, Azathoth jumped in, clearly pissed."Iris, there's a time for everything — and now's not the time. Do you want a fun punishment?"
Iris stiffened, trying to laugh it off."heheh…"
Then, after a short pause, she smiled brightly again."No need to get mad, dear Azath~ I'm on it, okay? Just relax."
She took off skipping toward the door, slammed into it, and vanished down the hall.
I watched that chaos unfold and thought: She's going to be a headache… a big one.
Turning back to the group, I asked."Any other info to report?"
Silence.
I stood up, eager to finally step out and get some air.
Luxian, visibly startled, quickly asked:"Did we do something wrong?"
Still calm, I answered."No, you didn't. I just feel like testing a few things."
As I started walking, all of them stood up and stepped off the purple carpet.
I walked toward the door — still slightly open thanks to Iris — and left the throne room, heading back into the corridors.
I turned right and continued walking, lost in thought.
How do my 'powers' manifest? Do I even have any? I don't remember coding anything for myself...

Meanwhile, back in the throne room, a light conversation had already started — without me knowing.
Luxian, visibly less tense now, let out a deep sigh."Ahh~, that scared the hell out of me."
Azathoth, never one to waste a chance to tease, smirked."Seems like someone owes us an explanation, right?"
Luxian nearly shouted, trying to deny it."Bullshit! Don't tell me you didn't feel that pressure either!"
But someone else replied first — with an unsettling tone."Uhh~, that pressure… I love that feeling. I want more of it."
Silence.
Lilith broke it with a sigh."Livia, maybe you should tone it down a little. I'm a succubus and even I feel jealous of how wild you are."
Alice, clearly disgusted by the exchange, muttered."What else do you expect from two sluts, nya~?"
Offended, Lilith responded, mocking Alice's tone."At least I'm not a locked-up slut, nya~."
Gurath just watched the whole thing quietly, letting out a long sigh.
Unable to take the provocation, Alice lunged at Lilith — only to stop dead when a sharp clap echoed through the hall.
Azathoth, clearly done with the nonsense, spoke with authority."That's enough. Playtime's over. Get back to your tasks."
No one dared to argue. Just like that, the room emptied.
