I watched as the big wodden doors unfolded infront of me. The sound that gave me nightmares for a week until I discovered strawbwrry milk. Inside was just as huge as you'd expect, it looked like the inner palace of the country's king during ancient china.
Stone pavements went in all directions. Between the pavements, bunch of cra- I meant grass and flowers which smelled like cra- sweet honey and cinnamon.
My mother's prized garden.
There stood between the adrorned garden, an old japanese style hou-mansion. Made of limestone and dark oak wood. It extended for quite some distance.
Well this place looked like it had a lot of history that's for sure. It was place where many wars took place including the one I'm about to deliver. There was a place I liked in this trash can, like a diary that your mom threw away in trash, luckly this garbage dumpster never got cleared out or decomposed over time.
I felt my vision blocked by a pair of hands.
"guess who I am~" A small childish voice echoed in the desolate place. I instinctivly smiled.
"keep your voice down Eia" I said in a serious manner though my smile couldn't be hidden.
"Im just happy to see you Echo" I turned around to see a girl about 17 wearing traditional kimono adorned with pink sakura flowers and wearing a golden harpin. I reached out and touched the harpin.
"you still wear this?" I said in a slightly mocking way.
"You gave it to me brother, was I supposed to throw it away?" She asked me, a little pout growing on her face. I carassed her hair and she gave me a dumb smile.
"how's school?" I asked with curiosity
She paused for a bit. "school's fine, I have fun. Leaving that! when are you going to take me to the city!?" she asked her voice annoyed with a hint of sadness.
"I will Eia, soon." I reassured her.
"No one is taking my daughter to a hellhole!" a sharp feminine voice peirced the grounds. I rurned around to see an old ha- my mother, beautiful despite her age and a permanent frown to ruin her beauty down from root.
