"KREEEAAUOUGHHEEE..."
The creature's mouth went up into this bad smile, making cold chills go down Ryn's back as he opened his eyes really wide in confusion and anger. The attack had been stopped completely, and the creature did it so easy that it was clear to Ryn he was way too weak for this fight. This thing was much stronger than him, and there was no way he could beat it.
"H-huh. This is getting... really hard..."
Ryn jumped back fast, keeping away from the creature just in case it tried to hit him again. In times like these where your enemy is way stronger than you, it's always better to be safe than sorry.
"LET'S DO THIS."
The creature bent its legs down low, getting ready to run forward at any time while its hanging eyes moved around like crazy. Its whole body looked like it was ready to jump forward like some kind of weapon waiting to go off.
*DASH!*
The creature shot forward really fast, pushing dust back from where it had been standing just a second before. It moved itself at such high speed that all you could see was just a flash of black and red colors mixing together. The thing was moving like a blur through the air.
As the creature jumped up in the air just a few feet high, it bent its right leg while floating there in the air, then kicked down with all its power!
*BOOM!*
Ryn was able to get away just in time, knowing that the creature couldn't move while it was stuck in the air like that. He went down low and threw a hard left punch right at its soft belly area—a sick, wet crack sound filled the air around them.
"I'M NOT DONE YET..!"
As the creature got thrown to the right side because of Ryn's strong punch, he ran straight toward it while it was still floating in the air with no control. By the time just one tiny second had gone by, Ryn was already right there next to the creature, moving at the same speed as it was. He flipped his whole body forward with his right leg going first, and his heel hit the creature's neck at really high speed.
*BO——OM!*
*FSHHH...*
As the dust finally went down around them, the creature ran toward Ryn again, but this time it was clearly hurt and bleeding from the hits. Ryn had just figured out something really important about this fight—the creature couldn't be hurt by any kind of magic attacks, only by hitting it with his hands and feet. But that wasn't even the scary part—Ryn just wasn't ready at all for what was about to happen next!
*CR—ACK!*
Ryn's neck got hit with a sick, horrible crack sound as a white bone piece stuck out of his neck, showing the empty space inside of his throat clearly. His whole body just stopped moving completely as he hit a thick tree at such crazy high speed that the hit shook the ground.
"G-GAGH..."
"S-shit..!"
Ryn said in total panic after he realized he couldn't move any part of his body at all—he knew he was in really bad trouble now. As the rush and excitement of fighting finally went away from his body, the terrible burning pain shot up from his broken neck like fire.
"AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!"
A horrible, scary scream was heard going all through the entire dark forest, making all the birds and black crows fly away from their homes in total fear.
The white bone was easy for Ryn to see just by turning his head to the left side—the sharp piece was right there in the corner of his eye.
—Damn it... I don't want to die here like this..! I really don't want to die! Just when I finally had a real family to love and count on for the first time... I WON'T BELIEVE MY LUCK IS THIS BAD..!
—PLEASE GOD..! GIVE ME... MORE POWER RIGHT NOW, I CAN'T DIE HERE, I WANT TO LIVE, I REALLY WANT TO LIVE!
The creature showed up out of the thick darkness once again, smiling with total happiness from all the fear and complete sadness that Ryn was showing right now. It looked like the thing was enjoying every single second of watching him hurt like this.
"Fine. I'll help you."

"W-wait..? Where am I right now?"
