A few days after setting sail from Shimotsuki Village, the Straw Hat Pirates finally arrived at a mysterious island—Rare Animal Island.
As the ship approached the island, everyone was surprised to find it filled with strange and bizarre animals. There were tigers with wings, dogs with chicken heads, and giant rabbits, among others. These rare animals excited everyone.
Nami stood at the bow of the ship, introducing the island to Luffy and the others. "This island is not simple, you know. Legend has it that there's a huge treasure on the mountaintop, and no one has ever been able to open it. No one knows what's hidden inside that treasure!"
Hearing about treasure, Luffy's eyes immediately lit up, and he eagerly shouted, "Wow, treasure! Let's hurry to the mountaintop and check it out!"
So, the members of the Straw Hat Pirates jumped off the ship one after another and stepped onto the land of Rare Animal Island. They explored the island, interacted with various strange animals, and had a great time.
However, after a full day of searching, they did not find the legendary treasure. Besides some strange animals and a man stuck in a box, the entire island seemed to have nothing else special about it.
Luffy and the others reached the mountaintop and opened the legendary treasure chest, only to be greatly disappointed—it was empty!
"How can this be?" Luffy grumbled. "They clearly said there was treasure…"
Although a bit disappointed, everyone was not disheartened. They felt that the adventure itself was full of fun, and they had met many interesting animal friends.
Finally, Luffy decided to invite the old man stuck in the box to join their pirate crew, but the old man politely refused.
"Thank you for your kindness, but I prefer to stay on this island. To me, the animals here are my treasure," the old man said with a smile.
Though a bit regretful, Luffy respected the old man's choice. He waved goodbye to Rare Animal Island and then led the Straw Hat Pirates to set sail once more.
Time flew by, and two days passed in a flash…
On the vast, boundless sea, a sailboat was cutting through the waves, its sail emblazoned with a large straw hat skull. This was the ship carrying Luffy and his crew, as they continued their adventurous journey across the expansive ocean.
At this moment, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Shin'ya, and Usopp were gathered together, listening to Usopp excitedly introduce his newly developed cannon. Usopp gestured wildly, detailing the cannon's features and power, his eyes gleaming with confidence.
"Wow, that sounds amazing!" Luffy's eyes widened, his face full of anticipation.
"Hehe, of course!" Usopp chuckled proudly, then added, "But talk is cheap; we need to test the true power of this cannon!"
Without further ado, Usopp immediately directed everyone to move the cannon to the ship's rail, ready for testing. After a flurry of activity, the cannon was finally ready. Usopp carefully adjusted the angle, aimed at a reef on the sea, and then lit the fuse.
With a thunderous roar, the cannon fired a huge cannonball, which streaked across the sky like a meteor, flying directly toward the distant reef. Everyone watched the trajectory of the cannonball intently.
"Boom!" With a loud bang, the reef was shattered to pieces.
"Haha, worthy of our sniper! He shoots accurately, and this cannonball has quite good power!" Luffy shouted excitedly.
Just as everyone was cheering for the power of Usopp's cannon, Zoro suddenly shouted, "Look, there seem to be people over there! It looks like they were blasted out by Usopp's cannonball."
Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw two people floating on the sea, seemingly stunned by the explosion. Without a word, Zoro immediately jumped into the sea and rescued the two men, bringing them onto the ship.
After some quick treatment from Shin'ya, Johnny finally woke up. The first thing he did upon waking was burst into anger. "Damn pirates, why did you fire at us? We were just resting on that reef, boohoo… Poor Yosaku, I don't know what illness he has, he's almost dying now, and you even blasted him with a cannonball!"
Looking at the aggrieved Johnny, Nami snapped, "Alright, alright, who knew there would be someone behind that reef? Your companion just has common scurvy. I'll give him some oranges to eat later, and he'll be fine. Honestly, I can't believe you guys. You know nothing and yet you dare to go out to sea."
With that, Nami went to the kitchen and got some oranges for Yosaku to eat. It must be said, this is truly the world of pirates; as soon as he ate the oranges, Yosaku became full of vigor.
Yosaku: "I'm revived, partner!"
"Partner, that's great!" Johnny and Yosaku hooked arms, cheering joyfully.
"How could he recover so quickly?" Nami roared at the sight.
Just then, Zoro's slightly hesitant voice sounded, "Are you Johnny and Yosaku?"
Johnny and Yosaku heard the familiar voice and looked toward Zoro simultaneously, their hearts suddenly filled with excitement. "Is that Brother Zoro? Why are you on this pirate ship?"
"Ah, yes. Due to some reasons, I'm no longer a pirate hunter. I'm now a crew member of the Straw Hat Pirates," Zoro said, then asked the two, "How did you end up here? And hiding behind a rock? If I hadn't noticed you, you might be dead by now."
Johnny and Yosaku both looked at Zoro in surprise, saying, "We never expected Brother Zoro, known as the Pirate Hunter, to start being a pirate."
"And we also have to thank Brother Zoro and Big Sister for saving our lives," Johnny said to Nami.
No sooner had he finished speaking than the two, who had been full of vigor just a second ago, collapsed to the ground again.
Nami: "You haven't had nutritious food for too long. When you don't get enough nutrition at sea, this happens. You guys rest here for a while, you'll be fine after a meal."
Johnny lay on the deck and said, "I know where there's a good chef—the Sea Restaurant Baratie. It's not far from here, about a two-day journey."
Shin'ya walked over and asked Luffy and Nami, "How about we try our luck there and see if there's a chef willing to sail with us?"
"Good, let's go there! Towards Baratie!" Luffy raised both hands, shouting excitedly.
"Oh~" Everyone else also raised their hands in agreement.
"I know the way, I can lead," Johnny volunteered to lead the way.

Two days later…
"Everyone, hurry up! We're almost at the sea restaurant!" Johnny shouted excitedly, his voice echoing across the sea as if it could travel very far.
The crew, who had been busy with their respective tasks, stopped what they were doing upon hearing Johnny's shout. As if under a spell, they all ran to the bow of the ship, stretching their necks and widening their eyes, gazing at the magnificent Baratie Sea Restaurant in the distance.
Luffy stood at the very front, his eyes wide as saucers, his mouth agape wide enough to fit an egg, his face full of amazement. He pointed at the large ship that looked like a fish and shouted excitedly, "Wow~ What a big fish!"
Nami, standing next to Luffy, was also stunned by the sight and couldn't help but exclaim, "Yes, it's truly a spectacular sight!"
Just as everyone was immersed in their awe of the Baratie Sea Restaurant, a huge warship slowly sailed past the Going Merry. The appearance of the warship was like a huge rock suddenly thrown into a calm lake, creating ripples.
Luffy and the others' attention was instantly drawn to it, their gazes fixed on the warship, a hint of vigilance flashing in their eyes.
"I didn't expect to encounter the Marines in a place like this," Zoro muttered, his hand unconsciously tightening around the hilt of his sword, his eyes sharpening.
Usopp's face turned pale, his voice trembling slightly, "Will they… will they attack us?"
A voice from the Marine warship asked, "I am Captain Hody Jones of Marine Headquarters. Are you newly embarked pirates? I haven't seen you on any wanted posters."
Luffy stood with his hands on his hips, looking arrogant. "I am the captain of this ship, my name is Monkey D. Luffy. We formed our pirate crew three days ago. Do you need something from me?"
Hody took one look at Luffy's expression and immediately lost any desire to bother with him. "I'm just here to eat today. I don't want to deal with you. Just don't cause any trouble."
With that, he headed directly toward Baratie.
Usopp patted his chest with lingering fear. "That scared me to death. I thought we were going to get caught right after setting sail."
Nami looked at Usopp with disdain. "With Shin'ya here, what are you afraid of? Such small fry aren't even worth Shin'ya's effort." Then she turned to Shin'ya and said, "Right, Shin'ya?"
"Ah, yes, yes," Shin'ya replied, clearly uninterested.
Just as they were chatting, Luffy suddenly gathered strength, intending to slingshot himself toward Baratie. Fortunately, the quick-thinking Shin'ya bound him securely with Wood Release.

I don't know if I should keep going with this fic, people said him being Op from the start makes things bland.
Let's say he have 10% of hashirsma template, how do you expect him to survive lol
Talkless of touching logia users that appeared early on in the canon- like Smoker, Enel or Crocodile.
