Chapter 1 - Unnamed

Chapter 1: The Perfect Start

Anita and Raj had been dating for almost a year. Everyone said they were the perfect couple. Raj was funny, kind, and respectful. Anita was beautiful, caring, and loyal. They laughed a lot, went on long walks, and shared everything.

But slowly, Anita started noticing things. Raj was always on his phone. He laughed at texts but never said who sent them. When they were out together, he smiled at other girls — not in a bad way, just politely. But it still bothered her.

One day, she asked, "Who were you chatting with last night?"

Raj smiled. "Just my cousin. She wanted help with her assignment."

Anita nodded, but a small seed of doubt was already growing inside her.

Chapter 2: The Doubts Begin

Over time, Anita started feeling insecure. Raj was friendly with everyone — too friendly, she thought. He had many female friends, and it made her uncomfortable.

She started checking his phone when he was in the shower. She looked through his Instagram likes and messages. Nothing looked bad… but she didn't feel satisfied.

"I just want to make sure," she told herself. "I love him so much. I can't lose him."

One evening, Raj mentioned he was meeting his college friend, Priya, for coffee. He said it casually, but Anita's mind exploded with thoughts.

"Why is he going with her alone? Why not invite me?" she wondered.

She didn't say much that day. But inside, she was boiling.

Chapter 3: The Fight

After Raj came back from meeting Priya, Anita was waiting with a cold face.

"How was your coffee date?" she asked sharply.

Raj looked confused. "It was fine. Priya wanted to talk about her new job."

"Why do you never take me to meet your friends?" she snapped.

"Anita, what's going on? Why are you acting like this?"

She exploded. "Don't lie to me, Raj! I know you like her. I see how you smile when she calls. Do you think I'm stupid?"

Raj was shocked. "I've never given you a reason to doubt me. You're being unfair."

But Anita couldn't stop. Her jealousy had turned into anger.

They didn't talk for two days after that.

Chapter 4: Breaking Point

Anita started calling Raj constantly. If he didn't reply within minutes, she panicked. She wanted to know where he was, who he was with, and what he was doing — all the time.

Raj felt trapped. "I love you, Anita," he said one day, "but I can't breathe. You don't trust me anymore."

Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Because I'm scared to lose you. I love you too much."

"But love without trust becomes poison," he said softly.

That night, Raj didn't call. Anita waited and cried. She realized she had pushed too far.

Chapter 5: The Lesson

A week later, Anita called Raj.

"I'm sorry," she said. "I let my fears take over. You never did anything wrong. It was all in my head."

Raj was quiet for a moment. "Thank you for saying that," he said. "But we need time. Love needs trust. Without it, we'll both suffer."

Anita agreed. She started working on herself — reading, going to therapy, talking to her friends. Slowly, she learned to trust, to control her jealousy, and to love with freedom, not fear.

She didn't know if Raj would come back. But she knew one thing — next time, she'd be stronger.
