Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

It's cold. Very cold. All I saw was red. Red on my clothes. Red in my eyes that slowly fluttered close. There T was. Laying on the ground as the light dimmed out. Laying on the ground as I died and my story ended. But no story starts at the end, does it? So let me take you to where it all started. Let me tell you the story of how I, Sherlock Holmes, Became the greatest detective the world has ever known. This is a story of regret. A story of mistakes. And a story of a meeting of fate. A meeting that would shake the world and leave an impact that would remain forever.

It was Sunday September 23rd 2005. I'd heard of a case. There'd been a murderer on the loose and a little bird told me I'd find the murderer at the local Comic Con (thanks for the info, Wattson). When I arrived at Comic Con, there were too many people to notice who the murderer could be. Then I saw someone very suspicious. It was a guy in a samurai costume eating a doughnut. The murder was known to love doughnuts and samurai. So I decided to follow him. I think he noticed me because he began to ran. Suddenly another guy approached me dressed as a detective

''Are you Sherlock Holmes? I'm your biggest fan. Can i get your signature?''

He held out a piece of paper but I decided to ignore him and focus on the murderer as I began to run after him. He turned the corner and threw his samurai sword on the ground, probably to lose weight. I quickly turned the corner of the hall and jumped on his back knocking him down. Luckily the security of Comic Con noticed everything happening and believed me when I explained everything. After I turned the murderer in, I decided to look for the scrawny guy who asked for a signature. But I never saw him again that day. Although I did find the piece of paper. I picked it up. and witten on it were only two letters: JM. I shrugged it off and went home to tell Wattson everything that happened today

Then the day came. It was September 23rd 2020. It was exactly 15 years after the Comic Con case. And it was a day I'd never forget. It was the day everything changed. It was the day that I would start to lose a case for the first time in my life. The day I fell in someone else's trap
