"What fire forgets, stone remembers."
—Ancient Ruin Inscription, Redglass Hollow
+8 Days After the Ashen Vault Defense
Location: Redglass Hollow – Southern Ruin Sector
The Redglass Path was a scar across the land, a barren streak of scorched soil and melted rock. Jag, Ashra, and Rain stood at its edge, gazing down into the rust-colored ravine where the heat shimmered even without flame. Jag wore his lightest armor, enchanted against residual heat. Ashra moved like shadow, unbothered. Rain, eyes flicking left and right, walked with instinctual wariness.

Warning: Heat Zones Reduce Regeneration by 50%
Hostile Presence Detected: Unclassified Constructs
Objective: Reach the Chamber of Names
Descent
The trio entered the Hollow. The stone walls pulsed faintly red, glassy in places, as if shaped by dragonfire long ago. Old stone stairs spiraled downward, broken by time and quake.
They moved silently. Rain took point, whispering guidance as if he had walked the path in a past life.
Ashra touched a symbol along the wall—a faded stormcloud glyph.
"We're close."
Jag drew his blade, runes pulsing. "Eyes open. No talking unless needed."
Zone: Chamber Threshold
They reached a circular door of fused obsidian and bronze. Symbols spiraled inward. The temperature dropped.
Rain pressed a palm to the center.
[Memory Key Detected. Lock Disengaged. Chamber of Names Accessible.]
The door opened with a low hum. Cold air swept out. Inside: a dome-shaped chamber with crystalline pillars and black murals.
Hundreds of names lined the walls. Etched. Layered. Fading upward in forgotten languages.
Rain stepped forward. He whispered, almost breathless:
"This... was our sanctum."
Sudden Encounter – Constructs Awaken
Two golem-like creatures emerged from pillar alcoves. Not Vulture-made. These bore Order of Rain symbols. Guardians.
[Guardian Class: Sentinel Echo (x2)]
HP: 480 / Armor: Adaptive Crystal Shell / Elemental Weakness: None
The first charged Jag.
[Jag: Oathsteel Counter -75 HP]
[Ashra: Shadow Fang -63 HP, -Poison Applied]
[Rain: Unarmed Style - Critical Hit -110 HP (Core Strike)]
One Sentinel fell.
The second exploded into light. A beam struck Rain square in the chest—but the boy stood firm.
[Hidden Trait Activated: Name-Bearer]
Effect: Immune to Memory Pulse Attacks / +25% Damage vs Ancestral Constructs
Jag cleaved the second guardian cleanly.
The Fragment
At the center of the chamber rested a floating glass tablet. On it, a name burned in blue:
"RAEN, OF THE 27TH THREAD"
Rain stepped forward. His hand hovered, then touched the glyph.

He fell to his knees, clutching his head.
Ashra steadied him.
"You're not broken," she said. "You're being rebuilt."
Rain whispered, "I remember now. The Vultures didn't just kill them. They erased their names from stone and sky. They bought kings with false histories. They feed on stolen identity."
Jag stood in silence.
Then spoke. "Then we reclaim history. One name at a time."
