Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 — When the Sky Burns, Remember My Name

Across the shattered strands of the cosmos, stars flickered.

Some died.Some… fled.

And in the ruined temples of Sovereign strongholds, one name now echoed through the minds of immortals.

"Minwoo."

Not whispered.Not questioned.

Feared.

Back at the Hollow Nexus

The flame still burned above Minwoo's hands.

Not ordinary fire. Not even Godfire. This was Becoming—his choice etched into reality.

The forge had answered.

And now the Veil trembled.

🔓 Minwoo has chosen: Path of the Flamewright (Creator)"You can end a thing by breaking it. But true power is creating something greater in its place."

New Class: Flamewright of the First Flame

Passive: Remembrance Spark — Fallen allies leave behind echoes Minwoo can forge into temporary spectral fighters

Ability: Forgebrand Sigil — Temporarily reweave an ally's weapon or armor into a legendary relic

Ultimate: Phoenix Foundry — Once per mission, recreate the battlefield: full recovery, reality reset, one Titan memory summoned

Jin watched Minwoo's hands glow with the newborn flame. "You could've picked the destroyer path. Burned the Sovereigns out."

Minwoo looked up. "Not yet. First, we show them what they tried to erase."

Across the Veil — Sovereign Space

Sovereign Lord Khyros the Unweaver stood upon his dread-engine, the Nulllight Throne, as visions of Minwoo's ascension played in front of him.

The Chained Seraph defeated. The Ash-Sleeper awakened. The Forge Below Creation reactivated.

"He remade the flame," Khyros whispered, bile in his voice. "They were meant to forget. We buried that power."

Another Sovereign, wrapped in anti-light, hissed: "Then bury him."

Khyros raised his hand—and stars darkened.

"Unleash the Revenant Choir."

Meanwhile, in the Outer Reaches

A tear opened in space.

Not a rift.

A scar.

Out stepped a figure once thought dead—her armor fused with meteor-bone, her gaze like frost wrapped in grief.

Riven the Last-Star — Titan-Blood exile, long lost in the Great Collapse.

She looked toward Sol-Kai.

"Minwoo…"

A single spark flared in her palm.

"…my brother…"

Back at the Hollow Nexus

A storm built in the distance—sky blackening, clouds twisting.

Selene turned to Varya. "Something's coming. But it's not from a gate."

Lira checked her scopes. "It's not in this dimension."

Then it hit.

A soundless quake.

Reality bent—and a figure descended through the sky, wrapped in burning thorns of entropy and song.

Not a Sovereign.

Not a Seraph.

Something older than both.

It landed in the Nexus courtyard—seven wings of glass and shadow fanned wide.

The Choir had begun to sing.

And in its center, a voice thundered—not spoken, but imposed:

"You burned the past, Riftborn. Now face what never died."

💥 BATTLE ALERT: Revenant Choir – Prelude IncursionType: Pre-Sovereign EntityStatus: Dimensional Hymn AssaultObjectives: Survive 5 wavesSub-Objective: Protect the Heartforge Beacon (Minwoo's only link to the Forge)

Jin and Kael activated the sanctum's defenses. Lira and Tarn took high ground. Kinro unfurled his wings, godfire crackling from his scales.

Minwoo walked into the center of the storm, the Phoenix Flame now wreathing his body.

He raised the Riftblade—not as a weapon now.

But as a key.

He struck the ground.

🔥 Forgebrand Pulse Activated — Nexus Sanctum Transformed

The courtyard shifted—pillars became resonant beacons, each reflecting Minwoo's will. The battlefield no longer belonged to the enemy.

It belonged to him.

And as the Choir shrieked and charged—

Minwoo whispered:

"You sing of endings."

"I forge beginnings."
