"Hanasia… is dead?"
Lynx stood frozen, stunned.
His queen—the only Super Saiyan among the Saiyans—had been killed… by Frieza?
Just then, Bardock and Paragus arrived in haste.
Paragus spoke in a low voice, "Your Majesty, please don't lose hope. That's just what the Galactic Patrol suspects. It might just be a communications failure…"
Lynx's eyes narrowed. Deep down, he wasn't so optimistic.
After all, Hanasia's current power level was only a little over 10 million—nowhere near what he knew Frieza was capable of.
From what Lynx remembered of the Dragon Ball universe, Frieza never openly stated his true power in his final form, but the general consensus placed his 100% Full Power Form around 120 million.
If this world's Frieza possessed similar strength… then Hanasia didn't stand a chance.
To make matters worse—even Lynx himself, in his current Super Saiyan state, could only push his power level to about 20 million at most.
20 million versus 120 million.
A guaranteed defeat.
Even so, Lynx had already made up his mind—he would go to Hanasia's last known location.
If she and the others were still alive, he would bring them back immediately.
And if they had fallen—then he would avenge them.
Even if it meant facing death.
He thought of Goku from the original timeline. Back then, Goku barely had a few million in power, yet still faced off against Frieza head-on. How could he, a Saiyan King with Legendary Super Saiyan blood, retreat now?
To die fighting—that's the true pride of a Legendary Super Saiyan.
"Which planet were they sent to? Give me the coordinates," Lynx demanded.
"Your Majesty!" Bardock stepped forward and grabbed his arm. "Please reconsider! You're the King of all Saiyans. You can't act recklessly!"
"Bardock, stand down!" Lynx barked.
But not only did Bardock not move, even King Vegeta stepped forward to plead, "Your Majesty, we don't yet know the full picture. Please wait for the Galactic Patrol's investigation—"
Lynx cut him off with a cold glance. "King Vegeta… don't forget—Frieza isn't our only enemy. There's one even greater. If we cower before Frieza, how will we ever stand against him?"
Vegeta froze. He knew exactly whom Lynx meant—Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction.
Compared to him, Frieza was just a stepping stone.
After a long silence, King Vegeta lowered his head. "…Understood, Your Majesty."
Moments later, the coordinates came through—Hanasia and her team had been sent to a planet called Tivi.
Tivi was even more primitive than Earth, but it produced a rare metal, ideal for spacecraft construction.
According to intel gathered beforehand, a group of space pirates had targeted the planet. Their plan was to wipe out the local population and seize the metal deposits for themselves.
Since these pirates came from high-power races, the Galactic Patrol couldn't handle them and had called for Saiyan support.
However, shortly after the deployment, a secret tip came in: the pirate attack was just a trap.
Frieza's forces were lying in ambush not far from Tivi, waiting to strike.
Upon receiving the coordinates, Lin Chen immediately locked onto the location and used Instant Transmission.
In the region where Planet Tivi should've been...
There was no planet.
Only a vast field of floating debris—asteroid-sized fragments of shattered stone—drifting silently through space.
And among the rubble stood a massive, grotesque figure, howling with laughter.
"Hahahahaha! What a beautiful firework display! You dumb Saiyan monkeys! I gave you such a dazzling send-off—you better thank me in the afterlife! Hahahaha!"
Half-flesh, half-machine, the hideous being was Frieza, currently in his Third Form—the grotesque, xenomorph-like one.
His body still ached from battle, wounds not yet healed… but in the end, he was the one left standing.
Even a mighty Super Saiyan was no match for him.
"Now you understand, don't you?! I—Frieza—am still the most powerful being in the universe! Hahahaha!!"
Not far away, in another sector of space, floated a Frieza Force command ship—a round, saucer-shaped battleship hanging just outside the blast zone.
The crew inside stared out with haunted expressions, survivors of what was supposed to be a flawless ambush.
No one had expected that the Saiyans—once mere grunts—would prove so fearsome.
"Who would've thought there was a real Super Saiyan among them?"
"Now it makes sense… why Lord Frieza was nearly killed by those apes before. They're terrifying…"
"Good thing Saiyans can't survive in outer space. That female Super Saiyan let her guard down. If she hadn't, Lord Frieza might've been done for again!"
"Too bad… the planet's ground forces were wiped out with her."
"Yeah…"
"Shut your mouths!"
A sharp voice cut through the chatter. Everyone froze.
It came from a purple-skinned alien with two black horns curving from his forehead.
Captain Ginyu—leader of the Ginyu Force, the strongest elite squad under Frieza—stood at the front, glaring at them coldly.
"Do you all want to die?" he snarled. "You know Lord Frieza's temper! If he hears a word of your useless whining, he'll kill all of us!"
He clenched his fist tightly.
This mission was supposed to be perfect.
Frieza, reborn through high-tech modifications, had preserved his old memories—and clearly remembered how the Saiyans used the Great Ape transformation to overwhelm him last time.
That's why this time, his plan had accounted for everything. He was confident in his revenge.
What they hadn't expected… was that the Saiyans had changed.
They were no longer the rabble of years past.
They were stronger than ever.
