In the middle of night after his father woke him from sleep to tell him the new about his cousin Vic's death, Jin did not respond with anything just sitting there silently for 2hrs. After both his father and mother hurried over to Vic's home, Jin realized what had happened and later questioning himself.
"why.... why did it happen ah..ahhh....ahh...."
"After everything i thought through how did i miss this"
In this life for the first time Jin failed, suddenly he realized he did not feel anything regarding Vic's death rather he upset because he failed. Unlike his past life where he felt little sad over the death of his favorite older bother, this time it's all gone the emotion, the sadness. He asked himself--
"Did i become--, ahhh... did i really become emotionless"
Have everything i did up until now was just to prove i can be perfect this--
"No... no this is all wrong, this is not how i wanted to live my life."
The body of 16 year old and the mind of 30 year old was lost in deep thought without the care of time and place.
"50 missed called, ahhh....ohh.. i am de... i am dead."
When he looked at time 4hrs had passed and the sun had came up. His father, mother & relatives had called several times to check on him if he was doing fine after hearing about Vic's death.
"Hello I a---"
"What are doing? why weren't you answering your phone? Have you checked how many times we called, didn't you hear your phone ringing..."
In angry, broken & concerning voice Jin's father asked Jin. He was afraid and concern about Jin because Vin was the one Jin most attached to after his sister.
After hearing anger and concern in his father's voice Jin couldn't help but notice the emotion his father was going through, At that movement Jin recalled both the past and present life memories of Vic, the feeling of losing which he had forgotten in this life that feeling had resurfaced again in him. He starting brawling his eyes out and asking his father
"Did you see Vin, was-- was he--...(after that Jin couldn't control his tears)"

After a while he calmed himself and asked-
"Did you tell sha-sha about Vic's...."
"No she does not know yet"
"I think we should tell her later right now probably she would be sleeping"
"fine.... you take care"
Jin in this life or the pervious one deeply cared for his own people his father, mother, and his sister whom he loves the most. Saisha (nickname: sha-sha ) who went aboard just a month ago for studies had no idea of the incident that happened in family mainly because of the 9hrs time difference.
Jin was most worried about sha-sha, how to tell her or how will she take the news. He was worried that there is no one there to take care of her.
Jin who was overwhelmed with emotion and thinking for sometime what to do, he decided to not sit around but do what he originally wanted to do.
Jin called his parent-
"I want to come over, i want to see him one last time"
"Jin dear i don't think you should come now, after the cremation ritual is done we will bring you ok..... ok dear ?..... jinno?"
"No maa I want to come over i want to say my last goodbye i want see him one last time."
Jin was desperate to see Vic, because in his pervious life he regretted not saying goodbye to his brother. He does not want to have the same regret in this life.
"This time i don't want to live my life full regret or to just to strive towards perfection, I want to experience emotion, love, passion, happiness, sadness, everything that life has to offer, every obstacles that life has to present."
That was the thought Jin was having as he was going to see Vic one last time.
After the completion of ritual in evening Jin called sha-sha and told her everything that had happened, Sha-sha was very sad after listening but she was mostly worried about Jin because Jin and Vic was very close.
Well Sha-Sha and Jin were very similar in this aspect, there most attention, care and fear are towards their parent and each other. Even in case of death of other they do not feel that sad as much as they feel for just having the thought of losing their parents or each other.
The death of Vic was the awakening for Jin in his second life. He recalled the moment when he woke up as child, the things he miss, the memories which he failed to create, the life he wanted to live, the job he wanted to do, the passion he wanted to follow. All thing he wanted to do in his second life which he thought after waking up as a child had returned.
