Samantha blinked, her golden eyes widening as she took in the sudden influx of information. She sat up, the silk sheets sliding off her pale skin, and swung her legs over the side of the bed. Her silverwhite hair cascaded down her back in waves as she stood, the plush carpet beneath her bare feet.
"Well, isn't this just... interesting," she murmured, her sharp gaze scanning the room filled with luxurious furnishings and expensive decor. A bitter smile tugged at her lips.
"Looks like I've been living the high life, huh?"
She walked over to the floortoceiling windows, pushing aside the heavy velvet curtains to reveal a sprawling estate and meticulously manicured gardens. In the distance, she could see the imposing gates of the property, a stark reminder of the gilded cage she'd been trapped in.
