*Noah's POV*
The silence stretches for three heartbeats. Then Gabriel's voice cuts through the air like a blade.
"What did you just say?"
Mia Kennedy's face twists into a satisfied smirk. "Oh, didn't you know? Your fiancée's ex-husband never even bothered to buy furniture for his own baby."
"His baby?" Gabriel's voice rises dangerously.
Chloe steps forward quickly. "Gabriel, I can explain—"
"Explain what? That you lied to me about everything?"
"I didn't lie."
"You told me the father was David."
"The situation is complicated."
"No, it's simple. Either Noah is the father or he isn't."
All eyes turn to me. Scarlett's hand finds my arm, a silent show of support that steadies my racing pulse.
"Yes," I say quietly. "The baby is mine."
Gabriel's face cycles through shock, rage, and humiliation in rapid succession. "You son of a bitch."
"Gabriel, please," Chloe begs. "Let me explain."
"Explain how you've been lying to me for months?"
"I was protecting you."
"From what?"
