Chapter 3
The three girls looked at Haruto for a moment and then exchanged glances. After a minute of silence, the short girl said somewhat shyly, "This is our first time raiding a dungeon, and we are feeling a little afraid." She couldn't say anything more and fell silent.
Hearing this, Haruto finally understood a few things and felt that this was a great opportunity to utilise.
Initially, he didn't want to join or create any kind of party since he didn't know his own level and feared he might be mistreated if he turned out to be weaker than everyone else. However, the same could happen here as well. But since these girls were just newbies like him, he felt that, being an otaku, he had much more knowledge about dungeons and everything related to them.
With all these thoughts swirling in his mind, Haruto once again swept his gaze over the girls and said, "So, you three want me to help you with your first dungeon raid? Is that right?"
The three girls, who were skeptical about whether the man in front of them would understand their intentions, finally smiled upon hearing this. Their smiles brightened Haruto's heart to some extent, as it was not a daily occurrence to have three beauties smiling at him.
Suddenly, the girl named Akane stepped forward and, with a small bow, said, "We would be grateful if you could help us with our first dungeon raid." Following this, the other two girls also bowed slightly, revealing their fair skin and curves from the gaps between their clothes.
Haruto, who wanted to accept their plea, couldn't help but find himself entranced by their figures for a few seconds. After clearing his throat, he said, "Ahem, there's no need for you three to act like that. I, too, was looking for a party to raid this dungeon. So, if you three don't mind, we can become party members."
Akane brightened up immediately and hugged the girl next to her almost instantly, their figures pressing against each other, creating a scene worth watching for Haruto.
However, after a few moments, feeling the blood rush to his face, Haruto coughed again to gain their attention. "Ahem, since the four of us are now a party, we should probably introduce ourselves and our skills."
Akane, whose heavy mounds were gaining the upper hand against the other girl, finally let go of her and turned her attention back to Haruto. With a warm smile, she said, "That's a great idea! I'll start first. My name is Akane, I'm twenty years old, and I want to become a sword master in the future."
Haruto, noticing the short sword hanging from her slim waist, nodded in understanding. However, something was bothering him, but he decided to set that aside for the moment.
The short girl seemed too excited to introduce herself, and in her eagerness to step forward, she ended up falling to the ground, gaining everyone's attention.
"Emi, are you alright?" Akane exclaimed, rushing forward with concern to help her get back on her feet.
"Haha... It's nothing! I just got too excited to introduce myself. Looks like you three will have to adjust to my clumsiness, haha." Emi said, playfully sticking out her tongue as she grabbed Akane's hand and got up from the ground, appearing unfazed by what had just happened.
The other girl, who had been standing in the background, also came forward. Seeing Emi's condition, she couldn't help but sigh before helping her clean the dirt off her clothes.
"Thank you, Hana, and sorry for the trouble," Emi said, playfully apologising.
After another enticing scene of Hana's hand bouncing on Emi's big breast made Haruto reflect on how much he had missed in his past life for not having a girlfriend, he felt a pang of longing in his heart for the warmth and love he could have experienced. However, the introductions were finally completed.
Emi, being proactive and somewhat clumsy, was a warrior, while Hana, with her shy demeanor, was a healer. After their introductions, Haruto felt that this trio was quite complete; they just lacked a long-range damage dealer. However, since this was a slime dungeon, he didn't think someone like that was necessary.
"Alright then, shall we go into the dungeon? I can't wait to slay the slimes!" Emi exclaimed, punching the air and jumping around enthusiastically.
"That's right," the other two agreed. Seeing this, Haruto could only nod and take the lead. If given the chance, he would have loved to discuss the slimes and everything else, but seeing how the girls were more interested in action, he decided not to be a party pooper.
The dungeon entrance was small, so the four of them entered one by one, carefully.
"The front is devoid of any slimes."
As they finally arrived inside, Emi couldn't help but exclaim out loud. She was itching to prove her strength, and by doing so, there was something else she could prove. However, seeing that there wasn't a single slime to greet her, she clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"We should go forward; we'll definitely find them," Hana said, patting Emi on the shoulder while looking at her with a hopeful expression.
'Is there something going on that they don't wish to tell me?' Haruto thought, noticing the concerned look on Emi's face. However, since he didn't have any connection or relationship with her, it wasn't his place to ask any questions.
"Miss Hana is right. Since this is a small E-rank dungeon, the production rate of slimes is too slow, so we'll have to work hard to find them," Haruto said, trying to reassure them.
At the same time, he felt that some of what he had said might be inaccurate, as the information he had gathered from Bruno and his friend was limited. The dungeons in this world were quite different from those in manhwa, where defeating the boss monster would cause the dungeon to perish.
The dungeons in this world were almost like the backbone of its economy, always producing monsters for adventurers to slay. Although the breeding rate might slow down, it still allowed most adventurers to survive in this world and experience what it was like to be an adventurer, even for a short time.
