"We will be going to the training area, and I will need to teach you the basics. After that, you have to find out your path as a Warlock. No two paths are the same, but everyone takes the same first step, Bennet." Lazarus. After entering the room in the morning, I sat on the edge of the bed, getting used to the feeling of my body. I can feel the power flowing through my veins. It felt intoxicating as I stood up, walked to the mirror, and looked into it; two mouths appeared on my cheeks, laughing sinisterly as my eyes darkened. "Freaky, but in a good kind of way," I said as I looked at my arms and hands, as more mouths started to show up laughing.
Shall we get started, Lazarus?" Said one of the mouths in a husky, dark voice, making him laugh. "Sure, the sooner you get the basics down, the better. Those ghosts in the forest have been getting a little to full of themselves, just because we tortured and raped them they have a gruage. They should accept that they suffered because they were weak; they make good target practice for you." He said while we walked towards the passage once more. My body felt amazing, as if I were the king of the world and nothing could stop me. I don't know why I tried to turn away from this feeling before; it just felt so right.
Making it to a floor lower than yesterday, I was shocked that we still hadn't reached the bottom of the stone staircase, which prompted me to speak. "How far does this staircase go?" I asked, making him smile. "It's always expanding. The last time I reached the lowest floor was about three hundred years ago, it was already at the 82nd floor down." He said as we stopped in front of the door and walked in, all that could be seen was a large pool of black metallic liquid and a circular platform in the middle. "Is that chaotic matter of existence? It looks to be the same thing my soul is made of." I said, looking at him, and he nodded. "This place gathers it, helping expand the chaotic matter in us as we meditate here." He said, signaling me to walk on the narrow stone path.
The pool was about three hundred meters in a circle, and as I stepped, his voice sounded out next to me, even though he was still standing next to the door. "Bennet, take a seat on the floor with your legs crossed and enter your soul. Will yourself to absorb the chaotic matter, and the voice of your soul will guide you towards what you need to do." He said as I sat down and closed my eyes, falling into a trance after a few minutes, as I found myself standing on a massive black metallic lake as I looked down to see eyes and mouths showing up as the sound of six voices began to chant words in a language I had never heard before. Repeating the six different chants made me understand what I needed to do as I opened my eyes, took off my shirt, and stood up.
Making a mouth on both the palms of my hands, one on my stomach, one on my chest, followed by the last one on my forehead. Holding out my hands to my sides, I began to chant the six different verses, and the ground began to quake as a pool of black, metallic liquid started to form six tentacles, flowing into the mouths I had made and my original mouth. This sight shocked Lazarus as the force of the mouths devouring the amassed chaotic matter was far faster than any Warlock or Witch he had seen before. The three-hundred-meter pool was emptied within four minutes as I opened my eyes. I looked around to see a 600-meter-deep hole where the liquid had once been.
"This won't be a problem, will it?" I asked him as he just stared back at me and shook his head. "It will refill in a couple of days, but to devour so much and not be affected by it. I would have to say your body was made for chaotic matter. But let's move on to the next room before we do anything else." He said as we walked into a more open room, as he began to talk. "What bloodline ability do you have?" He asked. "I have Mirror Walk and The creator of 10,000 abominations," I replied, making him place his fingers on his chin, before nodding and speaking. "It's best we try doing the Mirror Walk first, as your other one sounds like you need to do a lot more for it. You should understand how your body feels when using the Chaotic Matter. And using an ability that isn't complex would be easier for you to get the feeling of it." He said, snapping a finger, and a mirror appeared before us.
"It sounds like the ability of the other you, try to enter the mirror first and exit it." He said as I placed my hand on the mirror and closed my eyes. Trying to remember what it was like for him to leave it. It was like a glass of water effect as it rippled when his body moved through it. I could feel the Chaotic Matter inside me move towards my hand as it reached my fingertips, and the glass started to give way like sticking your hand into water. As I stepped forward, feeling it move up my arm, and finally touching my face as I entered the mirror and opened my eyes, I looked around. I could see him standing in the mirror, but he wasn't in the room with me.
This time, I tried to walk out of the mirror with my eyes open, recalling the sensation of Chaotic Matter moving to my fingertips as I walked back through the mirror. "Now, try and see if you can travel to mirrors away from here." He said as I turned around and closed my eyes, placing my hand on the mirror, remembering the mirror in the hallway at my home. As he watched, the mirror began to ripple, and the reflection in it started to reflect the wall in the hallway. As I opened my eyes and noticed the wall in my hallway, I smirked and entered it, stepping into my hallway and looking around. It was my home, so I could use mirrors as doorways or enter the world on the other side in the mirror.
The front door opened, and I looked to see my mother enter, accompanied by a man, as she regarded me with indifference. "Oh, you're here? I didn't see your car." She said, putting down her bag, as the man looked uncomfortable. "I left it at the mansion I had inherited from a relative on my dad's side," I said, making her scuff. "You're funny, Bennet." She said, smirking, as I walked over to the table, picked up the letter, and handed it to her. She read it with a look of shock.
"I want to see it. We could get a lot of money for it." She said, making me smirk. "Sure, I don't mind bringing you there. I need to call someone to take care of my car, as it broke down once I got there." I lied, as I wanted to get her to the mansion. She hugged the man and ran upstairs with him, and my eyes went black as my mouth started to smile. "I am heading out, mother, I will be back later!" I yelled as she closed her door with the man. "Bitch, you want my family inhartince the only thing you are going to get is an eternal life of suffering." As I changed the mirror to the chamber mirror, I saw Lazarus and re-entered the chamber.
"We will be having a guest tomorrow, as I told my mother about the mansion, and she became greedy for the possibility of money. So we could practice my second ability with her and her boyfriend, who knows what joy I can get out of them." I said as my sinister mouth showed up on my cheeks as I smiled, making him chuckle. "We haven't had new toys in years. I need to give everyone this joyous news." Lazarus said, clapping his hands as we left the chambers, before he stopped and thought for a moment. "I will take you to the library so you can look through Warlock spells. I would try to limit your spells, but you have a massive pool of Chaotic Matter, so I don't think you need to be limited." He said as we walked up the stone staircase.
Making it to the library, as he opened the door, my jaw dropped as I couldn't see the walls or ceiling of the room with floor after floor of bookshelves.
