Being the middle child can be very troublesome. The Osborn family has three children,two handsome guys and a cute young princess.
My name is Dylan Osborn and I am the middle child. My older brother Oscar Osborn is 23 years old a medical doctor, I am 18 and I am in senior year at Lincoln high, my younger sister Astrid Osborn is 10 years old and she is the cutest
"Second brother, come down now". Astrid yells from down stairs. What does she want now? Always disturbing me when Oscar isn't home.
"Coming" getting down from my bed, I headed down stairs with a slight frown.
"What's with that frown". Astrid asked immediately I came down stairs.
"What do you want Asy?" I asked with an annoyed tone because this was the third time she called me today.
"Big brother is coming home today right".she asked excitedly
"Yes so ". Replying ,I sat down on the couch taking out my phone
"Let's make lunch for him since mom and dad are out on a business trip" Asy says sitting next to me giving me her irritable puppy eyes.
"Ok fine go get the ingredients ready" I said as I focused my gaze back on my phone.
Yelling a yes, Astrid rushed to the kitchen. I I'mt has been a month since we last saw Oscar as he had to travel to perform some operation on an important client in a different country.
Mom and dad has been away for almost two weeks on their business trip but it doesn't bother us since we are used to it after all they are one of the richest people in the world.so basically I'm Asy babysitter since she is only 10 years old.
For me I live the way I want since I'm rich and a top student I have nothing to worry about except love . I'm single and has never dated before and I don't plan to because I'm not attracted to any girl
"Second brother the ingredients are ready" Asy yells from the kitchen breaking my train of thought
Getting up ,I headed towards the kitchen to see the kind of ingredients she has prepared . Entering the kitchen,I saw that she wanted to make Oscars favorite which was pasta with tomato sauce and chripsy chicken wings.
When the dish was 90% done , we heard a sound coming from the living room. Knowing it was Oscar,I told Asy to go welcome him as the dishes was almost done. When the dishes was done I served it and headed for the dinning room with the food on the troll tray pushing it to the dinning room I served the food before heading for the living room.
When he arrived at the living room, he saw Astrid hugging Oscar looking at him with a smiling gaze which made Dylan's heart skip a beat. After Astrid broke the hug, Oscar moved towards Dylan and gave him a brotherly hug.
"Welcome home brother" Dylan said as he smiled at Oscar.
"Big brother,second brother and I made lunch come let's eat" Asy said breaking of the strangely awkward silence.
"I'll go freshen up,you guys can start without me".Oscar said before heading upstairs to his room.
" What's wrong with him?" Asy asked with a worried tone.
"Probably just tired from the long flight. Go eat and have your nap I'll wait for him and hear his compliment about your cooking ok" I said trying to comfort Asy .
"Okay" she says as she heads for the dinning room.
Sitting on the couch ,I decided to wait for Oscar and unknowingly fell asleep.
