"I'm not discussing this further, Hudson," I growled, glaring at my Beta who seemed to find my discomfort amusing.
"All I'm saying is that most Alphas aren't afraid of a little complication in their love life." Hudson's smirk was infuriating.
"Afraid?" I scoffed. "I'm the Alpha of Silver Crescent and Chairman of the Lycan Council. I don't fear anything, least of all a college girl."
Hudson raised an eyebrow. "Then why are you so adamant about never seeing her again?"
"Because..." My phone rang, interrupting my response. "Marcus" flashed on the screen. Thank the Moon Goddess for the timely distraction.
"What is it?" I answered sharply.
"Sir, there's been another... incident with Leo's tutor." Marcus sounded exhausted.
I pinched the bridge of my nose. "What did he do this time?"
"He may have released several garden snakes in her bag while she was in the bathroom. She quit on the spot. That makes forty-nine, sir."
