Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: The Ancient Bloodline

Rudra's eyes widened as the elder's words hung in the air. He felt like he had been punched in the gut, his mind reeling with questions.

"What do you mean, elder?" Eira asked, her voice firm and commanding.

The elder nodded, his eyes glinting with a knowing light. "Rudra, you are the last living heir of the ancient bloodline," he repeated. "The bloodline of the great warriors who once ruled over this land."

Rudra's mind was racing. He had always known that he was different, that he had a special destiny. But he had never imagined that he was part of an ancient bloodline.

"What does it mean?" Rudra asked, his voice shaking with excitement.

The elder smiled. "It means that you have the power of the ancient warriors running through your veins," he said. "It means that you are destined for greatness."

Eira's eyes narrowed. "What kind of greatness?" she asked.

The elder's smile grew wider. "The kind of greatness that will change the course of history," he said. "Rudra, you are the chosen one. You are the one who will bring light to a world consumed by darkness."

Rudra felt a surge of energy run through him. He had always known that he was meant for something big, but he had never imagined that it was something this monumental.

As the elder finished speaking, the villagers began to gather around, their faces filled with a mixture of awe and curiosity.

Rudra felt like he was on display, like he was some kind of freak. He didn't know how to react, didn't know what to say.

Eira seemed to sense his unease. She placed a reassuring hand on his arm.

"Don't worry, Rudra," she said. "You are not alone. I am here to help you, to guide you on your journey."

Rudra nodded, feeling a surge of gratitude toward Eira.

As the villagers continued to stare, the elder raised his hands.

"Let us celebrate this momentous occasion," he said. "Let us celebrate the return of the ancient bloodline."

The villagers cheered, their faces filled with joy and excitement.

Rudra felt like he was in a dream, like he was floating above his body, watching everything unfold.

He didn't know what the future held, but he knew that he was ready. He was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, ready to fulfill his destiny.

As the celebration continued, Rudra felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that he was exactly where he was meant to be.

But as he looked around at the smiling faces, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. Something that he couldn't quite put his finger on.
