The Dragon Palace was silent beneath the moonlight.
Kai Dragon lay asleep in his chamber, golden hair spread across white silk sheets, the stars outside shimmering softly. The celebration of Eldros Vale's peace had finally ended, and for the first time in days, he let himself rest.
But rest was not what came.
Darkness overtook his senses—not the cold, dreadful kind, but a warm, weightless one. His body slept, but his soul was lifted, spiraling upward through golden mists and white clouds.
Then… he heard her voice.
---
"Hello, John… or should I say, Kai Dragon."
The voice echoed like a thousand wind chimes on a spring morning. Familiar. It was her—the voice that had whispered into his dreams after the rise of King Valen.
A brilliant light emerged in the distance, shaping itself into a woman wrapped in flowing robes of blooming vines, radiant feathers, and pure light. Her hair danced like sunlight on water, and her eyes held galaxies.
"I am the Goddess of this world," she said kindly. "My name is Lilith… the Goddess of Life."
Kai's breath caught in his throat. His body was weightless, but his heart felt heavy with reverence.
"Goddess Lilith… why have you brought me here?"
"To show you what lies ahead."
---
She raised her hand, and a vision unfolded in the skies between them.
The clouds split open. Time unraveled. The stars bled red.
Kai saw cities in flames. Oceans turned black. Skies cracked like glass. People screamed in terror as shadowed horrors rained from beyond the veils of dimensions.
He saw himself at the center of it—wings of light and fire, standing against the apocalypse, surrounded by friends glowing with divine power. And still, the enemy surged forward.
He gasped. "That's… the future?"
Lilith nodded. "A vision of the coming doomsday. And you, Kai… you are the Demigod of Prophecy."
---
Silence followed.
Kai trembled. "I… am that Demigod?"
"Yes," Lilith said gently. "When you died as John, I chose you. I granted you life again, not just as a prince… but as a Demigod, a bridge between the mortal and divine."
She stepped forward, touching his forehead. "And now, you must awaken fully."
A warm light poured into him—ancient and infinite.
---
"You are not meant to face this alone," she continued. "You must share your blood with your closest, most trusted allies. With your blood, they too will become Demigods. But beware…"
Her voice turned grave.
"Only give it to those you trust with your heart and soul. Betrayal from within will destroy all hope."
Kai nodded solemnly.
"I understand. I already have people in mind."
---
Lilith smiled and opened her hand again. This time, glowing magic symbols circled around Kai.
"You've also had locked Magic Types hidden from you. I sealed them to protect you. People would've feared you—hunted you—if they knew what you truly were."
The symbols spun faster. One by one, they etched themselves into his very being.
"Now… I unlock them. Divine Magic. Creation Magic. Evolution Magic. Gift Magic."
Kai's body glowed brighter than ever before as power surged through him—more ancient than his five elements, more alive than any spell.
---
Divine Magic pulsed in his veins. It gave miracles to the deserving and could transform others into holy priests of Lilith's will.
Creation Magic buzzed in his thoughts, allowing him to imagine anything—and create it, down to its magic, purpose, and form.
Evolution Magic burned softly in his heart, with the power to evolve a person's race—pushing them into higher states of existence.
Gift Magic settled in his soul, able to share his own magic types with those he trusted, forever altering their destiny.
Kai fell to one knee, overwhelmed—but smiling.
"Thank you… Goddess."
Lilith's eyes softened. "You were born a second time for a reason. Now fulfill it."
And with a gentle wave—she sent him home.
---
The Awakening
Kai's eyes snapped open.
Morning sunlight streamed through his windows.
But nothing felt the same.
He looked at his hands. Sparks of Divine and Creation Magic danced across his palms. His heart beat stronger, his mind clearer, his soul… heavier.
He rose quickly, dressed, and marched straight to the throne room.
---
The Revelation
King Vermithar was reviewing battle reports when Kai burst in. The elder dragon lord raised an eyebrow.
"Kai? What's wrong?"
Kai knelt.
"Father, I must speak."
The King dismissed his guards.
Kai rose, eyes serious.
"I am the Demigod of the Doomsday Prophecy."
Silence.
The King blinked once. Twice.
"…Explain."
Kai recounted the dream—no, the divine visitation. He described Lilith, the vision of the future, his divine origin, and the newly unlocked magic types.
He ended with a plea.
"I don't seek the throne. But I need your help to prepare the world. War is coming."
Vermithar said nothing.
Instead, he stood and walked to the side doors.
---
Moments later, a holy priest of Lilith arrived, clad in golden robes and carrying a staff of vines and crystal.
The priest looked into Kai's eyes… and gasped.
"His aura—it's divine."
He turned to the King and bowed.
"Your Majesty. There is no doubt. This is the Demigod of Prophecy. The one Lilith herself foretold."
Kai exhaled. The truth was now out.
And soon, the world would know.
