Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 – Saviors Wear Fangs

The world had started calling Cain Morgan a hero.

A protector.

A champion of the vulnerable.

Blackthorn's bulletin board displayed a congratulatory letter from the prefect council, applauding his "bravery and swift action." Students nodded at him in hallways. Teachers greeted him with reluctant respect. Even the principal, Headmaster Reyle, gave him a tight-lipped nod when they crossed paths.

But beneath the smile Cain wore…

...was a grin filled with fangs.

In truth, Cain had built a castle of lies, stacked stone by stone atop guilt, trauma, and lust.

And now? Now he wanted more.

His hunger was evolving.

Not just for blood. Not just for obedience. But for worship.

He sat in the old library that night, candles flickering around him. Serena, Amara, Lena, and Arielle knelt in a diamond pattern before him—each dressed in black silk, collars glowing faintly with crimson glyphs.

Lilith stood behind him like a shadow, eyes gleaming.

"I need them to believe," Cain said, fingers interlaced. "Not just in me—but in what I represent."

Amara tilted her head. "What do you mean, Master?"

"I mean we're not just spreading control anymore," he murmured. "We're spreading faith. A new order. A following."

Lena swallowed. "A religion?"

Cain smiled slowly. "If the old gods refused to save me… then I'll become a new one."

[System Update: Godseed Path Unlocked]A hidden evolution of the Lustborne Vampire. Cain can now absorb belief through submission and worship, gaining new traits and abilities based on faith levels.Faith Points (FP) will accumulate as followers deepen emotional, physical, and spiritual devotion.

He began with small commands.

Serena whispered to a group of girls in the bathroom: "He's not like the others. He sees the pain no one else does."

Amara pulled a troubled student aside after class and spoke softly about "the boy who helped her find herself again."

Lena left anonymous notes in lockers: "When everyone else turned away, he stood up."

And soon?

Students started approaching Cain. Not in fear. But in hope.

A girl named Ivy approached him near the vending machines.

"I heard you helped Serena. That you stood up for someone when everyone else was silent."

Cain didn't answer. He simply looked into her eyes.

She flushed and stepped closer.

"...Can I sit with you at lunch sometime?"

He nodded slowly.

And walked away—saying nothing.

[Total FP: 3][New Trait: Unseen Halo]Low-tier believers begin to perceive Cain as inherently trustworthy and magnetic, even if they don't know why.

Meanwhile, Cain's five kneeling slaves deepened their roles.

At night, they knelt in prayer-like positions around him.At dawn, they helped bathe him in silence. At noon, they whispered his name like scripture.

But this wasn't delusion.

This was design.

That weekend, Cain summoned Serena to the rooftop garden.

The wind whipped through her short skirt, and she shivered under his gaze.

"I've been obedient," she whispered.

"You've been loyal," Cain replied. "But tonight, I'm elevating you."

Serena blinked. "Elevating…?"

Cain walked to her. Brushed her cheek with the back of his fingers. "You'll become my First Flame."

"Wh–What does that mean?"

"You will guide new converts. Test their hearts. Break them gently." He leaned in, lips grazing her neck. "And you'll wear my mark—on your skin, not just your soul."

Serena's legs trembled.

"I accept," she breathed.

Back in the chapel, Serena lay across the altar, chest bare, eyes closed in rapture.

Cain carved a faint glowing sigil into her lower stomach using a thin claw of blood-charged magic.

She screamed once. Not in pain.In release.

When it was done, the mark pulsed softly—Cain's emblem. A fanged serpent coiled around a heart.

At the same time, Cain's body responded.

Something awakened in him. A pulse in his chest—darker than blood. A tremor through his bones.

A voice whispered.

"The world is bending."

"The throne of sin awaits."

[New Skill Unlocked: Crimson Sermon]Cain can give a public speech to a group of emotionally vulnerable targets. Those with weakened resistance may fall into devotion or infatuation.Cooldown: 48 hours.Bonus Effect: All affected targets grant +1 FP upon submission.

He would start small.

A gathering of ten. Maybe fifteen.

All girls who had suffered silently in the school's cruelty. The unwanted. The mocked. The abandoned.

They would come for comfort. And stay for purpose.

And once they knelt?

Cain would rise.

That night, as thunder grumbled softly in the distance, Cain stood at the center of the abandoned auditorium. The air was cold. Heavy with tension.

Rows of girls sat silently in chairs—each hand-picked by Serena.

They didn't speak.They simply waited.

Cain stepped onto the stage, his black coat flowing like wings.

No microphone. No lights.

Just him.

And them.

He raised his voice.

"I am not your savior."

They blinked, confused.

"I'm not a priest, or a hero, or a star to worship from afar."

He took another step.

"I am the flame that saw you drowning in the dark—and didn't turn away."

He pointed to one girl in the front row. "You were abused."

Another. "You were mocked."

Another. "You were raped."

Gasps. Trembles. A few sobs.

Cain knelt slowly on the stage.

"I will not give you forgiveness. I will not give you lies. I will give you power."

His voice softened.

"But only if you kneel back."

One girl stood. Walked up the stage.

She fell to her knees.

Then another.

And another.

By the end of the night, twelve had submitted.

[+12 Faith Points][Total FP: 20][Skill Upgrade: Crimson Sermon II – Passive Hypnotic Aura added]Future speeches have a 20% chance to entrance targets with low resistance without verbal commands.

Cain stood in the candlelight.

His harem now extended beyond lust.

It reached into belief.

And soon…

Into worship.
