Synopsis:
Maximus Jones didn’t ask to be special. Hell, he didn’t even ask to be here. Born in the shadows of crime and betrayal, he spent most of his life scraping by, protecting a sick mother whose secrets were bigger than anything he could’ve imagined. A botched robbery and a run-in with S.H.I.E.L.D. should’ve been the end of the road—but it wasn’t. Instead, it was the beginning of something far more dangerous.
Now, in a world of spies, superhumans, and cosmic threats, Maximus finds himself walking a razor-thin line between hero and monster. With a power he doesn’t fully understand and enemies waiting at every corner, the only way to survive is to grow stronger, faster, and smarter than everyone else. 1. The MC (Maximus) isn’t OP from the start. If you’re expecting a powerhouse right away, this ain’t for you. Every ounce of strength he gains comes from blood, sweat, and tears.
2. No harem, no over-the-top romance. Sorry, this isn’t that kind of story.
3. Expect a darker tone—there will be death, violence, and maybe a bit of gore. You’ve been warned.
4. The pacing starts slow, focusing on Maximus’s training, his past, and his life at the S.H.I.E.L.D. academy before diving into the action.
5. Maximus is no saint. He’s reckless, emotional, and a pain in the ass when it comes to his mother. Logical decisions? Who needs them when you’ve got blind determination, right?
What to Expect:
1. A flawed but clever MC who grows through sheer grit and determination.
2. A lot of training, character development, and tough lessons.
3. Original arcs that dive deeper into Marvel’s universe, with plenty of twists.
4. Shades of gray—heroes aren’t always good, and villains aren’t always evil.
5. A gritty, no-holds-barred take on what it really means to survive in a world full of gods, monsters, and moral ambiguity.
6. Long chapters. Expect chapters to be around 2800 words long.
