Jackson held Nidia's hand as they walked out of the City Hall. The resolute and cold handsome face had a slight smile hidden beneath. He escorted her to the white Bentley reluctantly.
"Darling... wait for me to bring you home."
Jackson automatically changed how he addressed Nidia. He leaned over and lowered his head, giving Nidia a kiss. They had only been apart for two days but Jackson had almost gone crazy from worrying about Nidia.
The kiss was just a small interest. He was going to get both principal and interest back tonight.
"Okay... I'll wait for you."
The word "hubby" was almost out of her mouth. But with the bodyguard standing not far away, Nidia was unable to bring herself to say it. Her heart pounded erratically when she thought of using the term of endearment.
Jackson, who was standing outside the car door, was staring at Nidia expectantly. Since he had taken the initiative to use a term of endearment, Nidia should address him as "hubby", right?
