Nidia smiled and nodded in embarrassment. She walked slowly to the dressing table and sat down, realizing that the table was filled with all kinds of precious jewelry.
"These were all sent over by your grandfather. He said that he didn't know what jewelry you would wear, so he picked some of each." Lavanya walked over and stood beside Nidia, her gaze fixed on her daughter through the mirror.
