A bitter smile appeared on my face the moment that I heard this.
I really wanted to correct them on this, but there was hesitation that filled me as well.
After all, it was hard to explain it if I were to try and correct them. It wasn't as if there was anything that I could use to actually correct them with.
If I gave all the credit to the gods…
Well, there was a part of me that could tell that they would just accept it on the surface and it wouldn't change what they actually thought. So even if I did try to explain it, I wouldn't actually be able to change their minds.
"This is the problem with these fanatical worshippers of gods…" I couldn't help secretly complaining about them.
But instead of wasting time complaining about this, there was something else that I wanted to do.
Since the gods wouldn't come and help me, I decided that I would go to them. Since they ignored me, I would go to the place that would make it almost impossible for them to ignore me.
