I gritted my teeth as the illusion reformed. My beam was to end the battle quickly, yet all it did was drain me. But, I wasn't gonna give up! Not without a fight first!
Akinari's sky tails flew at me, but I quickly formed my barrier, deflecting them with ease. He might've been tough, but he wasn't unbeatable!
I flew toward up and blasted the airs again, this time ignoring the eye. But once again, they quickly reformed just like my shadow knights did. This illusion of his was different from the first time we fought. It seemed more complex. Had he been working on this spell for days.
I looked down as the man himself appeared below, blocking my family on their way to Milo's place. But, my visor could see past the man's illusions. That wasn't the real Akinari, but another illusion. Still, even an illusory clone could cause damage. Thankfully, the shadow knights I had hidden in their shadows appeared to protect them.
