Zol and Mason sat in the void alone, cultivating and observing while time slowly ticked away. Days passed as the intensity slowly increased.
Although still slow, it nevertheless increased. Occasionally, a void creature would appear, only to be swiftly dealt with. Fortunately for the men, Cosmic Mana Waves never came close to their location.
During the days they cultivated, several supernovas erupted, releasing immense solar essence and generating shockwaves that swept over the pair; however, they stayed in their place.
From time to time, Mason would try to engage Zol in conversations, and the stoic hunter would sometimes give a reply or ignore him, especially when he began his shenanigans.
A little over a week later, a change suddenly occurred.
The pulsating Veil Tear suddenly emitted a much stronger beat than they had experienced before, instantly causing Zol and Mason to retreat billions of kilometres away.
