Kiera looked at Lewis in disbelief, only to see him grab her hand: "Kiera, before Grandma passes away, she might have just one regret left."
"What regret?"
"That she can't see our child with her own eyes."

Seeing that Lewis was finally joking, Kiera understood in her heart that the atmosphere had indeed gotten rather heavy.
She smiled slightly and said, "Lewis, from now on, can we live happily every day, so Grandma won't worry about us?"

"Then let's go. Come with me to the downstairs kitchen and cook for Grandma!"
