Emily Parker tried to catch that familiar back, but the person walked very quickly and soon disappeared at the end of the corridor.
Emily's brow slightly furrowed, just as Rainny White came out of the lounge, her face flushed.
She hurriedly tidied her hair and clothes, a hint of panic in her eyes, and quickly left.
Emily's gaze fell on Rainny. She noticed a few faint marks on Rainny's neck, as if gently bitten. Rainny subconsciously tugged her collar, trying to cover it, but couldn't hide the smugness in her eyes.
"You go back first, I'll come later."
Carlos's voice sounded softly and deeply in Emily's ear.
Emily was slightly stunned; she knew the inauguration ceremony of the first official was about to begin, and it was indeed not suitable for the couple to appear together on such an occasion.
