Among all places in the world, this asylum is considered the last place on earth I would rather be. However, seeing Esmund sacrificing himself to make progress in this investigation, I figure I shall make an effort while he searches through the forbidden library.
As soon as the institutions in town resumed operations, I dressed up and travelled here. I mustered all my courage and stepped into this asylum.
In front of the door of Ward 613, I stop my steps. Through the opening I look into the ward, I see a patient in white standing by the window looking out to the woods planted at the back of the asylum.
"Mr Greene has been quiet since he was admitted." abruptly, a voice from my back draws my attention.
When I turn to the back, I see a short lady standing in front of me. She has a nurse cap on her head, and a tag pinned above the chest pocket of her uniform. On the tag it says 'Wilmer'. Below the tag, the name of the institution is embroidered on the pocket——Haberkorn Asylum.
