Zara looked to her side.
Ace was already striding toward her, a dark shirt rolled at the sleeves, a smug smile. "Let's not keep them waiting."
"Wait! What? I'm not even—"
He stepped closer. "Scared?"
Zara frowned, rolling her eyes.
"Of stepping on your foot? Definitely. Not."
Ace smirked, "That's the spirit. Now let's go."
Zara looked at Nadia who was sitting beside her.
"Go girl," Nadia gave her an approving nod.
Zara was hesitant but she let him lead her to the center.
The beat slowed.
Something sultry and rhythmic flowed through the speakers.
They hit the center. The crowd made room.
"See, I told you we picked the perfect duo." Zara overhead a staff member whispering to the other.
She arched a brow. "They planned this."
"Well, we're here," he murmured, pulling her close. "Now focus."
He spun her—fluid, sharp.
Then slipped a hand through her ponytail, swiftly, pulling the band off her hair and letting it fall over her shoulders.
