"Ariton, are those tears that I see in your eyes?" Lucifer suddenly asked his companion who seemed solemn.
"My lord, tears? No. I think my eyes are sweating." He responded.
"And since when did that start happening? You're taking me for a fool, isn't it?" Lucifer demanded.
"A fool? Aw, come on, my lord. You seriously cannot mean that..." Ariton started speaking when he noticed the glare in his master's eyes.
Lucifer did not approve of his witty mood and it was all going to be in his best interest that he holds whatever was pushing him to speak within.
"What happened?" Lucifer demanded.
"Nothing really. I'm just thinking about the old man and it made me sad. He had to die by the hands of his own friend, such a cruel fate." Ariton stated.
"How dare you call me cruel?" Lucifer demanded, his eyes lit up with so much anger. At this point, even Ariton was already afraid for his own life.
