Chapter 70 - Absolute Strength

Emily cast a protective spell on the warriors, and everyone gradually regained their strength. "What a terrifying opponent. This time, we're probably doomed," Naan said, his legs trembling. "If we don't fight, we'll die anyway. We have to give it our all," Feigo encouraged the group. "There's a brave warrior up front, so let's not stand too close," Noah said timidly. "What are you talking about?! Emily healed our wounds, so we owe her our lives and must fight for her," Feigo scolded. "We came here with the hope of coexistence. Please consider withdrawing your army. We don't want to harm each other," Judo said to the Demon King. "Ha, hahaha! Coexistence? Wasn't it you humans who drove the demons here? Since you've come to kill me, why bother with pretty words? This war will only end when we reclaim our land," Badi responded sternly. "As for that little princess, your people have already rescued her. But none of that matters. A greater power is approaching, and before it arrives, I'll clean up the trash," Badi said, standing up.

"Don't underestimate us! If we can't resolve this peacefully, then let's settle it with blades!" Kaia declared, preparing his attack. He knew the enemy before him couldn't be defeated with ordinary moves, so he began charging up for his Divine Heaven Slash. "I'll leave the front to you guys," Kaia said while gathering energy. "Leave it to me," Judo replied, rallying the other warriors. Judo led the charge, unleashing Burst Thunder magic, shooting a high-voltage white lightning bolt from the tip of his spear straight at Badi. The other warriors, now recovered, also launched their ranged attack spells to support him. However, the dozen different magical attacks were erased the moment they neared Badi. "What?!" Judo sensed something was terribly wrong. This enemy had the same ability as that mysterious woman they'd faced before. "Everyone, spread out!" Judo shouted to the warriors, fearing a large-scale magical counterattack. The warriors immediately scattered, staying on high alert.

"Stop playing with these childish tricks," Badi said with a light chuckle. "When we came to the Demon Realm last time, we encountered a mysterious woman as powerful as you. Is she your subordinate?" Judo suddenly asked. "Enis? Just my niece. If you couldn't even defeat her, do you really think you can beat me?" Badi replied dismissively. "Time's running out. Let's end this boring farce." As Badi prepared to attack, Kaia finished charging and unleashed an even more powerful Divine Heaven Slash. "Take this, Badi!" he shouted, swinging a massive blade of light that tore through the floor and hurtled toward Badi. Badi didn't use any defensive moves, taking the slash head-on with his body. The light blade exploded upon contact, enveloping the area in smoke. "Did it work?" Emily stared intently, as did everyone else, watching the smoke. As it cleared, Badi's figure became visible, standing unscathed, not even a tear in his clothes. "Why?!" Kaia couldn't believe his eyes. "Hmph, compared to the ancient heroes, you're far inferior," Badi said, snapping his fingers. Kaia's right arm was suddenly blown off, and his holy sword fell to the ground. "Argh!" he cried out in agony. "Kaia!" Emily rushed to heal him. "You're not worthy of that sword," Badi said, using his magic to pull the holy sword to his throne and plant it beside it.
