"What did you say? Yvette has been poached by Star Sovereign International?" Bailey stared at her assistant, Celeste, in shock.
Celeste, knowing Bailey's temper, was aware that this news would surely infuriate her boss. She immediately lowered her voice, fearing that anything she said might provoke Bailey further.
"Yes, the company head has already confirmed it."
"Is the information reliable? It better not be some rumor!"
"The information is absolutely reliable. It's said that Yvette has already renewed her contract with Star Sovereign International. She was their agent before, but since Star Sovereign International has been struggling lately, the contract signing was delayed. Now it's confirmed."
As Celeste spoke, she carefully watched Bailey's expression.
