Ryuji ignored Zenitsu and said to Tanjiro, "Tanjiro, take Zenitsu, Nezuko, and the children into the villa. Leave this to me."
Tanjiro considered it and agreed.
Knowing the siblings' brother might still be alive in the villa, he knew they needed to split up.
The situation in the villa was unclear, so taking Zenitsu, Nezuko, and the children was the safest option.
Even if something happened in the villa, Zenitsu and Nezuko could help.
Tanjiro trusted Ryuji to handle things alone.
Ryuji wanted Tanjiro to take everyone into the villa because it was safer than staying outside. Inosuke was also in the villa, allowing Tanjiro and Zenitsu to bond with him, ensuring key plot points wouldn't change.
Although Ryuji's presence caused some plot fluctuations, the overall story hadn't changed drastically. Ryuji didn't intend to deviate from the original plot unless the system mission forced him to.
After all, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko were the main characters of this world, and Ryuji was just a dimensional traveler who would leave after completing his system missions.
All he could leave behind were memories for the main characters.
"I don't want to go inside. I want to stay with Ryuji!" Zenitsu suddenly decided to stay with Ryuji, believing it was safer.
Ryuji understood. "This is a powerful {demon}. If you don't want to get hurt, go hide in the villa with Tanjiro."
With Ryuji's words, Zenitsu grabbed Nezuko and ran towards the villa.
"Nezuko, don't be afraid. I'll protect you!" Zenitsu, holding Nezuko, spoke with manly confidence.
Nezuko, however, felt no fear.
"Ryuji, be careful!" Tanjiro gave a final warning before carrying the siblings towards the villa.
Lower Rank Six, seeing them run, didn't chase. He knew other {demons} were in the villa. Tanjiro would still be in danger.
He just needed to defeat Ryuji, then go to the villa and take Tanjiro's head to complete his mission.
"You're quite arrogant! Choosing to fight me alone. But I'll disappoint you. You'll die a horrible death," Lower Rank Six said mockingly.
At that moment, Ryuji heard a system broadcast in his mind.
