Chapter 28 - Flame of the Kingdom

"I accept to teach you what I know"

People around him looked at him in surprise. "But Your Majesty, you don't even know him."

He told them "This is none of your business. I think he is an ambitious young man with dreams."

Upon passing through the grand double doors of bronze, a faint scent of oud and amber greeted the air, as if the very walls held the secrets of centuries past.

From the ceiling of the great hall hung a massive crystal chandelier, shimmering under rays of sunlight that filtered through the arched windows, casting a mosaic of colors upon the white marble floor. On either side, corridors stretched into a maze of countless chambers, each with its own soul: a music room where rare string instruments lay scattered like forgotten treasures, and a library whose shelves soared to the ceiling, cradling ancient books wrapped in the scent of timeworn pages.

At the heart of the palace stood the royal hall, vast as a sea, its floor cloaked in thick Persian rugs, and its windows dressed in velvet crimson drapes that swayed gently with the breeze. The furniture itself was a marvel sofas upholstered in silk, tables of ivory and alabaster, and a grand fireplace crowned with a gilded mirror framed in vine and floral motifs. And in this hall where we are. Rayan stands next to Lucas and they discuss with that person. "Thank you sir for agreeing"

He looked at them with a look that passed over them like a breeze in a silent night dominated by nothing but secrecy, and he smiled at them. "Okay but first welcome to my palace and you are always welcome to Aetherwyn"

This is if the ruler of the great kingdom of Aetherwyn, King Zevril The Eternal.

Rayan got the agreement from the ruler of Aetherwyn that he would teach him a little bit of the fire side, as the ruler of the kingdom of Aetherwyn is a good controller of the fire side. But he will teach him little so that Ryan does not fall under the influence of the fracture. "Listen boy, come with me."

He took him to that room which had many books in it. "Take this book, young man, it will do you good."

Rayan and Lucas were surprised by this, thinking that the king would teach him skills, but instead he gave him that book. "What's inside this book?"

The book was covered in a thick layer of dust, as if it had been asleep for centuries, waiting for a curious hand to awaken it. Its leather was cracked, a deep brown color, exuding the scent of old leather and mildew. The letters of its title had nearly vanished, leaving only a faint trace of faded gold. When I opened it, the scent of the past wafted from its pages, a scent that belonged to no era I knew. The ink looked as if it had just been written, vibrant and black. When Rayan opened the book, he felt as if there were many questions surrounding the book without answers. He kept looking into the depth of each page. He felt as if he was lost in another world, as if this book was not an ordinary book, but rather felt that it was a gateway.
