Chapter 6 - Blood and fighting 1

She entered the gate as it cracked open like it hadn't been opened in centuries and she stepped in. She was about to start moving with haste and fright but then, she remembered that the original protagonist was never scared and she always fought back and vampires feared her. She closed her eyes, summoning back strength, and then she opened them.

Scanning the area, she moved back outside and picked up the knives she used in killing the vampires. After fixing them back to her waist she found out that the same knives were also fixed around her thighs. Three fixings in around each one. One corner of her lips pulled up into a villainous smirk.

"You can do this, Luna," she said to herself and started moving, positioning her hands in the air like a badass on a mission as she began to take steps forward with calculative moves and her eyes scanning the area. This place was still calm and it was like the serenade of the night was playing its own melody while the real nightmare was taking place inside. She kept moving forward in the darkness. She could already see the tall mansion in view and because of the little lights on the body of the wall, she could tell that the mansion was made of bricks.

She took a deep breath and kept moving. Suddenly, she stepped on something and she immediately froze.

She pulled out the little tactical flashlight and flashed it on the ground only to see a scythe stained with blood. This was also used for killing rogue vampires. She bent down and picked it up. Immediately as she bent, a vampire leaped on her and both of them landed on the ground and the vampire groaned, and his elongated canines stained with dirty black blood aimed at Luna's neck as he pinned her down on the ground.

"F**k! Get off me!!" she yelled.

Groan!

Her both hands were pinned on the ground with its dirty hands stained with black blood and his eyes were bloodstained black-red. Luna was powerless against him and his teeth were about to sink into her neck when...

The vampire was pushed off her and was immediately torn to pieces. With heavy breathing and her heart racing, she looked up and saw golden eyes glowing under this beautiful moonlight. His hair scattered on his forehead and his sharp jawline and elegant features left her breathless. Ezekiel's eyes were still fixed on the vampire he just killed. He was passing by the forest and heard the great Omega Black team was under attack. He was also hungry and decided to stop by since there was a fresh meal outside the mansion. His nose couldn't resist the sweetness of the smell of blood and his throat itched more. Only for him to come inside and see his meal was about to be taken by some kind of idiot!

Slowly, he shifted his lingering gaze to the sweet meal only for him to see her.

Luna!

The anger in his eyes was replaced with surprise.

"Wow! You keep surprising me lately," he mumbled and his golden glowing eyes slowly faded back to beautiful gray. Luna quickly stood up and pulled out one knife and positioned her hand in the air.

"Stay back! Don't come closer!" she warned. She had read in the books how Ezekiel was dangerous and she was ready to fight back at any cost.

"You're being funny right now!" he said as he smirked devilishly. Gray eyes started glowing golden.

"Good that I'm hungry! What will you do?" he asked. Though she was the villainess, she was still human. She didn't have power against the supernatural beings but she could only use spells to beat them and she could only fight rogue and normal vampires but she was no match for the pureblooded vampires, let alone beat the vampire prince.

"I'm amazed to be amazed," the both of them heard a voice and Simon came out with his mouth stained with blood and his already red eyes were glowing beautiful dim red but not like the rogue.

All vampires naturally have dim red eyes and the pureblooded vampires have light red eyes. That is what is used to identify them. Rogue vampires have blood-stained red eyes and always stay in the forest and then the Reapers are always hungry and come out by night to look for a prey to hunt and feed on. And they are usually many when it's full moon.

"Simon? What are you doing here and why is your mouth stained with blood?" Ezekiel asked and Simon shrugged his shoulders before saying,

"I told you. Let's go out together but you refused," he said casually as if they were talking about the sun intending to shine by night.

"So? You came without me?" Ezekiel looked disappointed. The blood in Simon's mouth was supposed to touch his own throat if only he came with Simon.

"What? You said you're not going, that it's boring, but I see you're also here having some fun," Simon smirked at Zeke.

"Why don't we have some fun with Luna over here?" he added.

"No! She's my prey!" Zeke deadpanned.

And Luna's eyes widened.

"I'm no one's prey so don't you dare," she said, still holding the knife in place.

"I'll just go inside the mansion and drink from some of the humans since a bunch of rogues are already inside having some fun," Simon said to Luna, crossing his arms.

"How dare you come into my territory and cause trouble," she said with rage boiling in her blood. Her voice held an undertone.

"I'm still hungry when I already drank from three humans," Simon said.

"How dare you..." Luna was devastated. To think that Simon had killed three people. How many had the rogue killed?

"Stop with all this drama! Luna, let's get things over with," Zeke said, bringing out his nails. "I'll make sure you suffer pain and after that I'll drink your blood and throw you on the street like some kind of garbage. Teresa will come back and carry you like trash. Just like last time." He dragged the syllable 'trash' making Luna grit her teeth.

"I think that will never happen. It's just a dream," Teresa said, stepping into view.

"Firstly, you sent vampires here to hunt us down and you don't control your people. What kind of prince are you? How will someone like you rule as king?" Teresa said and Zeke's eyes glowed golden. No one, not even the princes, had spoken to him in such a disrespectful manner. And even questioned his reign.

With speed, he leaped and grabbed Teresa's neck, strangling her and then vampires began to attack. Running at Luna as the scent of her blood was too strong. Rogues came out to drink her blood but as soon as they saw Ezekiel and Simon they immediately retreated.

"Ezekiel, let's go!" Simon said.

"Let her go!" Luna finally averted her gaze from the vampires and looked at Ezekiel holding Teresa in the air and without thinking, she pulled out a knife and aimed at his chest
