"H-how did you get my number?" Camille asked while stuttering.
"I see that you remember me baby girl," Sam chuckled.
"I asked a question, how did you get my number?" Camille questioned loudly. This time, her voice was firmer.
"That would be for me to worry about, baby girl, I will see you soon," Sam said, and the call got disconnected instantly.
Camille's breath turned shaky as she threw her phone to the side, not caring if it cracked.
His hoarse voice brought back the smell and memories of damp cement and the clink of metal chains. Her chest tightened as if she were back in that basement.
"He is back, he is coming for me," she muttered to herself as she huddled in a corner.
She shivered as thoughts of how she became entangled with Sam.
Camille was just eleven when she was kidnapped. Ethan and Asher rescued her after three agonizing days.
