Astria POV
My heart cannot take this much drama in one day. I may actually have a heart attack and for real this time. Immediately the girls dropped that news, I was so nervous and excited that I tried to get up from my bed. That was a terrible idea. The nurse had helped move Lyra and I closer together but I was still connected to IV bags. Standing up so quickly made me rip out the vanilla. That was painful but my body didn't even acknowledge the pain yet. I just needed to see the scoreboard. That way, I was finally going to be at peace. I needed to know if my efforts were worth it at all. I don't even know how the scores were awarded but I know that Alaric and I had to be at the top of the table. It could just be the overachiever in me though.
